@Writtenonyourheart - your group will love this cruise, the ports are great and the scenery even better. We were on Radiance in June and just loved the trip - this was on my bucket list. Enjoy your running, my daughter runs 1/2 marathons so she would have enjoyed your group.

Awesome! Thanks! :) I think they've done RCI ships before...I know in the Caribbean. The overall vibe I'm getting from the website and this board seems much more in tune with the group than HAL was. It was fine...we just didn't seem to really fit in that well with the majority of the people on board. :)

Royal Caribbean and especially The Radiance of the Seas

is definitely going to miss Capt Sindre who is leaving tomorrow Sept 23rd.

He was one of the most personable and visible captains we have had on all our cruises.

He was our captain on the Radiance last Sept/Oct from Honolulu to Sydney.

We had some fun times with him in the CL, captaining our tender in

Bora Bora, having his son Marcus with him during our bridge tour, always

running into him around the ship.

Thanks Capt Sindre you will be missed!!

Cheers,

I will always remember him in that tender boat. What a hoot.
