travelingfools Posted November 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2011 I thought I had worn Capris in the MDR on other cruises, but NCL doesn't mention them in their dress code. Do you think they fall into the Slacks category or shorts category? I know you'll see just about everything in the MDR, but are Capris acceptable by NCL standards? mtwingcpa Posted November 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2011 In my opinion (I haven't seen any written policies on this) it's a question of length. I'd guess the mid-calf ones are OK as "slacks," and I've certainly seen a lot of them in the MDR. But I'd also guess the ones that just barely cover the knee cap could be viewed as "shorts." Right, those would be called Bermuda Length Shorts.....;)
boopsahoy Posted November 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Ive worn all different length capris and never been turned away. I think if your kees are covered you can get away with them not being shorts!

If they weren't acceptable 1/2 the women would be asked to leave..Go, enjoy and wear them every night. Nita
