Your welcome. Back in Oct. 2010 when we did the same iten., but with the 2 sea days in the beginning, the 2nd elegant night was on Thursday, but it wasn't for the reverse. :)

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure on that, but I do believe the dance areas still had the bars open past then. Hopefully someone might pop in & let you know for sure.

I hear ya & totally understand! We go August the 19th, different itinerary though, but still on the Magic. The kids are so excited. I wish we could tag along for your Breeze cruise, that will be awesome!

K, i couldn't find the port where these pics were taken and i don't recognize the spot. Pretty though!

I know that we sailed the Conquest the week before you did in 2010. Was that shopping area (with the tents) at the pier there then or did we just miss it? I remember the shopping inside the port, but there didn't seem to be much other shopping close to the port.

Okay, so remember the mix up with the cake the night before right? Well, it turns out we had a cake in the dining room & they were going to give it to us & sing on our actual anniversary. I still am not sure, but I wonder if it had been set up by someone else & that's where the mix up happened? I'm not sure, but I know I ordered online & to my knowledge, I thought it would come to our cabin. So, they brought us a Happy Anniversary cake & sang to us. We were told we had to kiss the entire time of the song or they would start over. LOL. I wish I would have snapped to hand our camera to one of our awesome table mates.

Thank you so much for the review! We are sailing on the Magic in April and can't wait...we are even more excited after seeing your pictures. We've been on a couple cruises but this will be our first Carnival cruise. What I found most interesting about your pictures was the lack of people. Was the ship really that empty or were you just lucky? When we were on our last RCCL cruise it was packed, no way to get a picture anywhere without a bunch of people.

Hubby was home several days sick, I've been sick some too with a sinus infection, our youngest had his 6th Birthday yesterday & then now he is sick & has a fever. :( I hope everyone is understanding, but I haven't been able to get the Fun Times scanned yet, but will this next week & email them to all that have asked. Also, I'm going to really try to finish the review & pictures tomorrow as long as my little one doesn't get worse. (We are going to see the Dr. tomorrow.)

I was wondering if you could tell me if the ropes course is open while you were in port? I know the pools are... at least that is my understanding. Like you, we only plan to do a little shopping right there at the pier. So we though it would be nice to take advantage of a fairly empty ship and no lines for the course. Do you happen to know?
