Can you tell me if there is any "can't miss" things on the Carnival Victory.DW,DD,and I will be sailing on this ship in Jan. and we want to make sure we don't miss anything that is great.Thank you very much.

A Don't miss If was going back would be to do Calabaza in Barbados one of the best excursions we have ever done in 12 cruises . :) But she may be booked up with that short of notice :(

Just walk to the front of the ship on decks 6,7 & 9 and go out the doors. There will be two doors, go thru the first and close it before opening the 2nd one. Close them slowly, don't let them slam. It will be windy when ship is moving.

If you don't have a balcony room it is a great place to watch coming into ports. Agree with above poster it can get very windy there, but a great view.

We went on the secret decks a few times and there was no one there! Even on sea day they were deserted!

Hence the term SECRET DECK! LOL Hardly anybody uses them. I go out on them every cruise I take.

I never would have known about them without cruise critic....... I am sure I never would have walked to the front of the ship, I would have assumed it was just cabins.

I believe deck 9 is above the bridge. Great place for pictures of the ship and pulling into port.
