I've won enough to cover the cost of my cruise for each of my 4 cruises (not expenses though!!)

Last cruise my brother won 1200 one night at roulette and 800 the next at roulette (he's a lucky one...always winning, even in vegas...)

On our very first cruise, my husband (then boyfriend) played the slots on the last night into the wee hours while I slept. He won over $1000. It was enough to pay our bill in cash before we got off the boat.:) He hasn't been so lucky since.:(

Quite a few of you seem to be very lucky. We are going on our first cruise in August - just wondering if anyone has won on the Carnival Triumph?

Also, I hear people talking about Bingo - does anyone know what the cost of Bingo is? Do they play at night or during the day?

This was on our second cruise on the Carnival Victory. I was playing the quarter slots and was down to my last few quarters. Was playing 3 credits at a time, but since I only had 5 credits left, I dropped down to playing 1 at a time. Down to my last credit...I won $963. Later on that day, we were walking back through the casino. I had a dollar bill in my pocket and deceided to put it in one of the $1 machines. Well, a lady next to the machine I was going to play had just won, and she was trying to get the attention of her husband across the casino. Being the nice person I try to be, I walked over to get him for her. The machine I wanted to play was now occupied. So I walked around the machines and found one that I deceided to play...and won $96. Needless to say...I was happy!!!

My DH on the same cruise put a quarter in and won $50, and on the last cruise, Celebrity Century he won $50 on a quater.

Bahami,

The price for bingo varies, and usually for multiple games in one session. It is anywhere from $5 for one game to $30 for a 3-card set for multiple games. I'm sure there are more variations than this even. Games times vary as well (mostly during the day but usually 1 or 2 evenings for the grand prize games toward the end of the week.)

Way back on my first cruise I won just over six hundred dollars playing bingo.

Last year my father -inlaw won $500 playing slots on Celeb.

I also one about $250 playing craps a couple of years ago on a RCCL ship

I spent the whole week playing Let it Ride across the table from an elderly woman that was on her first cruise and her 50th wedding anniv. On the last day of the cruise for some reason we switched seats. She got a straight flush for around $4500 win.

I have never seen someone on oxygen so excited and so fast. I was really happy for her win you could see how greatful she was. She was able to pay off her and her husbands SS card and a bunch of other stuff.

I shoulda been mad becuase she was in my seat. But I was on vacation so I didn't care... :)

Last July my husband and I won over $8,600 on a progressive 25 cent machine on HAL's Staatendam.

We watched the reels stop one by one "triple diamond...triple diamond...triple diamond" Yeah, what is it worth ? we wondered and checked the payoff schedule since nothing was coming out and no lights were flashing or beeping or anything. We saw it said "progressive" but actually did not have a clue what that meant. It took us about five minutes and the assurance of the casino manager that we had actually won this huge payoff.

They require a driver's license for the W-G before they pay off.

They pay out in mostly $100 bills. We felt like characters in a heist movie with that amount of cash.

The winnings paid for absolutely everything connected to the cruise, a new freezer for my mom and the taxes to pay for the jackpot.

on our last cruise - i won 500 on a 2 coin max bet quarter machine- it was my second spin- dh had just walked up and was telling me how i wasn't going to win anything on that machine...lol- we also won 65 on the horse race and 65 on a group slot game we did with some other people- it was great!

other cruises we have lost some, won some and broken even............. we use the money to pay on the set sail card or sea pass card whatever its called...

its all entertainment- don't play with more than you can afford to loose.........and you will be doing good!

oh- when on a carnival cruise a few yrs ago- i went to the cashier station for some change- the attendant asked me if i saw the guy win the 500,000 jackpot over there ( she pointed) on the $1 blazing sevens progressive machine....... i had just walked in there so did not see or hear that commotion............anyone else ever hear of someone winning that big on a cruise? i plugged in a few dollars on the blazing 7's after that and did not win -

biggest win on a cruise... last night of the cruise out of nyc to bermuda and back on celebrity zenith... hit the crap table... the table was crowded, but no one was putting together any kind of a roll... then the dice come to me... i held them for over an hour... hit for about 2000.... and the only reason i gave up the dice was because we approached us territorial water and the table had to close ( i still say the casino called the captain to speed up the ship because i was winning:D )

On our first cruise, DH decided to play the craps table. I just stand and watch. He won $1000 our first night. In the port, I'm checking out the jewelry when DH says I can have the necklace or we can book another cruise. I have never regretted not getting that necklace!:)
