Emergency medical evacuation from Mariner today

Great coverage of your cruise, Konagolfer. I viewed your photos and read your text and have to say, "Well done!" No word on the medical evac patient? Ships generally keep such things quiet. I wonder what the traveler's spouse did . . . that is if the patient had one. Please continue your reporting. You are benefiting us all. Jack Morris

i have to say that picture of the buses lined up on the pier sends chills down my spine....that looks SCARY!!!! do they ever accidentally back up into the water?

 

i would NOT have wanted to be on one of those buses on the pier, thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

that just terrifies me half to death... (so have i ever mentioned that my middle name is 'worst case scenario'?)

In reading the excellent blog I just saw the bit about the Mariner hitting part of a pier and being a little damaged as a result. Did they manage to fix the window? It looks so dramatic in your photos!!
