Emergency medical evacuation from Mariner today

Konagolfer

Recommended Posts

Today we had a helicopter from the Chilean Navy come to evacuate a passenger from the Mariner while we were in a remote area of the fjords. I have posted a description and some pictures on my cruise blog. http://watkinscruise.blogspot.com

Great coverage of your cruise, Konagolfer. I viewed your photos and read your text and have to say, "Well done!" No word on the medical evac patient? Ships generally keep such things quiet. I wonder what the traveler's spouse did . . . that is if the patient had one. Please continue your reporting. You are benefiting us all. Jack Morris
