I don't buy pop and usually just drink tea and water but on my next cruise my neice and my daughter are going to be there. They want to get the pop package. Does anyone know how much it is and how to buy it?

You can by the soda card on day of embarkation at the lido bars. It was something like $36 for my husband for our 5 day cruise, and included a "free" (pretty nice, actually) travel tumbler.

 

He didn't actually wind up drinking that much soda, and I dont think we'll get it the next time we sail. He has cut way back from what he used to drink in years (and cruises) past.

You can buy the Bottomless Bubbles sticker when you board the ship, is only available the first 2 days. You are allowed to carry-on 12 pops (up to 20oz each) per person. Some PAX just carry-on the allowed amount and buy more in port if needed.

Its $4.50 per person per day for children plus 15% tips and $6 pp per day plus 15% tips for adults. pricey.

Carnival Cruise Lines will offer all guests the option to purchase a “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program which will allow the guest unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the cruise at a one-time purchase price. Prices are as follows – a 15% gratuity will be added.

 

Child Rate Per Day $4.50 USD (17 years of age and younger)

Adult Rate Per Day $6.00 USD (18 years of age and older)

 

Upon purchasing the “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program, a sticker will be placed on the guest’s Sail & Sign card. “Bottomless Bubbles” can be purchased at the ship’s Casino Bar and Pool Bar.

 

In all areas where beverage service is offered, guests may show the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker and receive a glass of the carbonated soft drink of their choice. Juices may also be requested. One 16 ounce glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the Sail & Sign card with the “Bottomless Bubbles” sticker attached.

 

The “Bottomless Bubbles” unlimited soda program is non-transferable and may not be shared. Guests or family members who would like to enjoy soft drinks through this program must purchase their own sticker.

One beverage serving, per sticker, will be served at a time.

Soft drink is served by the glass (16 ounces); juice is served by the glass (10 ounces).

The program cannot be used through room service or the Interactive TV system, where applicable, or the minibar, where applicable.

Note: The following beverages are available in the Lido Deck Restaurant, 24/7 and are complimentary: Coffee; Hot Tea; Hot Chocolate; Lemonade; Ice Tea.

My daughter regreted getting it on her cruise. I always just bring some pop and bring insulated cups. Works very well and the pop is not flat.

I think it used to be free. Because when I got the soda card on my first cruise it was free..in 2006

I regretted it when I got it. Now we just carry on a bottle and crystal light packets to mix in water.

No regrets here. It is nice to not have to think about shelling out money every time you get a drink. I realize for someone who doesn't drink a lot it might not be worth it, be sure was for us.

That was the only reason that I regretted it. I didn't get my money worth out of it. But 2 years ago dh got it..and it was worth it for him.

In order to figure out if it's worth it or not, if I remember correctly, it's $2.50 for a bottle if you buy it separately. How many will they drink in one day? If it's more than two, it will be worth it. For most, it is worth it.

How old are your daughter and niece? If they will be going to the teen club a soda card is a MUST!!! I hate to think this way but.....I tell my kids if they have to put their drink down (dance, play game etc) and it is out of sight to NOT pick it up again. Get a new one. But if they are paying $2 for a can they could really rack up the S&S card. By buying the bottomless bubbles you dont have to worry about them or the cost.

If you plan on buying the pop cards (yes I am Canadian too :)), make sure you wait until after you sail and you will save the tax on it. The one time I did buy the card, I found it very frustrating to get service. It wasn't worth it to me and I won't bother again. We just take along our allotted amount and make that last.

We have gotten it in the past for hubby...because we always fly in the day of and can not get to somewhere to purchase a 12pk... We find it cheaper to just buy that u need on board for the first day or so... When in port , bring some back on board... He loves his dr pepper... and the haven't had it on Any of the ships we have been on... We can usually find them in port for about $1

We never have let our boys get the soda card. In order to make it worth the money they would have to drink more pop than I would like them to drink. We just bring a 12 pack of pop on board.

I don't think the travel tumbler is "free". It is like $7. This is my experience from our last 2 cruises on Destiny.
