How much $ to play Bingo

Recommended Posts

Don't remember the exact prices, but it varies from one card (one chance) all the way up to about $90 +/- for the electronic lap game (similar to iPad) that gives you a chance at all the games. I think we only had 6 punch cards/games each ($36 each maybe???). It was a lot more expensive than I thought it was going to be but somebody ends up winning a free cruise (on the electronic one of course !!!). It's certainly not dollar bingo ;) but it was fun :)

These were the prices on Oasis last week:

$32 gets you 6 cards per game; there are 4 games in each session, so 24 cards total (again, 6 chances to win each game). They also have the handheld computerized machines for $55 per machine. These had 30 cards per game, for 4 games, for a total of 120 chances. You also got a bonus strip of 3 cards when buying the computer, so technically you had 33 cards in each of the 4 games.

The fist session I played, I refused to spend $55, so I bought the 6 cards; the second game, I realized...if your paying $32 for 6, $55 for 33 is probably the way to go. And it was a good decision, I won on the machine :)

Also, they had a buy two, get one free promotion for both the cards and machines...so if you really wanted a ton of cards, you could pay $110 and have 93 chances to win each game, times 4 games, for 372 total chances to win.

Hope this helps!

Wouldn't that be 99 chances to win each game, times 4, for a total of 396 total chances to win?

We sailed on Serenade of the Seas last year and it only offered the old style cards, not electronic consoles. The ship didn't offer the 'free cruise' vacation bingo game - not sure if the size of the ship affects the games and play options available. IMO, the ship offered a poor alternative...a bracelet from the onboard jeweller.

Not just a Royal rip off all of the cruise lines charge this outrageous amount.Just give me a good old penny slot machine,I can have a lot of fun with $20. on those.;)

Bingo was $45 for the electronic machine this past Feb on Adventure. I thought it was alot but I ended up winning the "free cruise":). The "free cruise" was for a inside or ocean view with the option to upgrade which we did to a JS. We were planning on sailing on Allure in 2013 anyway we ended up getting our JS for about half price...not too bad.

We played once in all our cruises. It is expensive, and the payoff isn't great. For ex, if there are 3 winners, you will split the pot equally, so a $200 win becomes $67. Not only that, but the games go very quickly. As someone mentioned, you'll lose your money slower in the casino, so it's more entertainment hours for your $.

Our friend was on Adventure of the Seas transatlantic in April and won the free crusie, she was so excited, she is a single mom and has 3 kids, she had taken her daughter and now she is able to take her two boys on a cruise so that was a great win.

I am not a bingo player but my wife and boys always like to play, and when I talk to people at home who are regular bingo players the prices are not that bad. There seems to be less bingo at home now since we have more Casino's locally.

Good luck when you play
