Another question for you...

I know on a previous thread you expressed interest in getting a FCC on board the Paradise. There is still confusion as to whether or not they are actually sold on the Paradise. Were you able to buy the FCC you wanted? If so, when and where were they sold?

Thanks again for your help.

Yes, they do sell them at the small desk next to the S & S kiosk and the casino bar, Promenade Deck 9, Mid, Wed was from 4:30 - 9:00 and Thursday (last day to get them) was 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. They announce it as the Loyalty & Cruise Experts Desk. :)

I really wanted to do the martini tasting again, a good buy for $17 and they are pretty strong. We luved our bartender and took his pic and he in turn insisted on taking ours, lol. You also get a small martini glass charm with each tasting ordered.

I'm just gonna keep bugging you until our cruise gets here. :p

Can you do the martini tasting any time during the cruise or is it at a scheduled time?

Thanks. :)

LOL, I'm not easily bugged, I like helping people if I know the answer, knowledge is power....Yes, you can get the martini tasting anytime you want, we did it 2x, loved Raj, bartender, and the drinks were pretty potent. I loved the melon one, tastes just like watermelon, the one we didn't really like was the one with J. Daniels in it, very strong alchohol taste. I like to go after dinner and then order a big one that I liked to take into the comedy show. Enjoy!

I was just on the Paradise before Christmas with my son and his girlfriend...we had the best trip ever. It was so fun to see your pictures because of all the tequila I drank:D . I couldn't remember alot of the ship:rolleyes: but you brought it all back. So nice to know that I am not the only one that can drink tequila like water:p Great Review!!!!

I hope DH will get hooked as well. That way I don't have to work so long and hard to get him to agree to a cruise. We won't try to do it all. I doubt I'll be able to talk DH into even 1/4 of the activities available on board. I have 1 self-booked excursion per port planned. Both are relaxing and easy to get to. We'll have to leave time to shop before re-boarding in Cozumel, though. I'm sure we will have a blast. Thanks. :)

We do Mr Sanchos all inclusive...so no shopping for us! No telling WHAT we'd come home with if we did.

"Avert your eyes, K...you do NOT need that stuffed iguana"!!

What areas other then Casino and Lido deck were you able to smoke. Is there an outside promenade area for smoking?

Designated smoking areas are: Lido Fwd starboard side and Lido open deck, Casino (if your playing), Casino bar ( American bar), the Rex nightclub and rooms with a balcony. Cigars/pipes are only allowed Lido fwd starboard.

Except for Lido, all smoking areas are on Deck 9, mid.

Most of us smoked either at the Lido tables or casino bar, if you are on Lido, just take the glass door by the slide down one flight, it comes out at the casino bar. :)

The smoking section that you said is Lido Fwd starboard... is that going to be in the bar area? Starboard is not the side where the stairs for the slide are, correct? What is considered Lido open deck? Would that be the area overlooking the Lido? Can you smoke anywhere in the Rex Club? Are smoking areas restricted in Grand Cayman and Cozumel?

Sorry for all the questions. :o

I've really cut back smoking since I got my e-cig, but still crave a real one once in a while and DH still smokes over a pack a day even with the e-cig.

Thanks for all your help!

Grand Cayman & Coz, not sure, we smoke in the port area at GC and at the beach when we were sitting at the restaurant, Cozumel we we did the bar hop so of course there we were able to smoke, Rex Club yes, anywhere.

Yes open Lido is upstairs overlooking the pool, there are loungers there with wall mounted ashtrays. In the pic below, coming from elevators within the ship you walk out right in front of that hot tub, go to the left all the tables and chairs near the pool area are smoking, there are tv's and a bar also where you can smoke, they cell cigs & cigars also. Up the stairs by the bar is the open deck, it does not show in my pic though.

Now that our cruise is getting so close, I'm stressing out... lol. I'm so ready to get on board so I can relax. 5 more days!

I want to thank you once again for all your help. Your review helped a lot and then all the questions that I've asked, you've answered in detail.

Finding someone so helpful is sometimes a rarity, so I really appreciate it!

No need to stress, Tampa is an easy port to board and you'll be on that ship in no time, it will be crowded around guest services when you board, if you don't have to put any money down on your card, just walk right thru them to the left and take the elevator to Lido and get you some lunch, the workers came around about 12:30 to let everyone know their cabins were ready! Also they are handing out Fun Times and some were available at the Coffee bar near the Casino, so you can start planning your cruise strategy.:)

Your a quite welcome! Bon Voyage! I will try to watch your sail away!

Happy Sailing,

I just keep feeling like I'm going to forget something. DH says that after all the stuff I've done and bought, if he needs something, I better have it... lol.

I shouldn't have to see guest services when we board. I had a $130 OBC from price drops and I called and added more. On day 2 or 3 I'll see if I need to add to it.

I hope our rooms are ready that early. I won't feel like carrying around the drinks for too long.

4 more days! I can't wait!
