What deck is best to book on Oasis?

Oh no hope this isn't going to be noisy.

 

We passed Dazzles every night on our way to our cabin and not once did we hear anything in our cabin from there at all. Not to worry.

We just booked a few weeks ago on deck 9. We are near the elevators aft. Is this a good spot? Says on the deck plans we are near Dazzles. What is Dazzles?

 

 

We were on deck 9 aft and loved it. When you take the elevators to any of the floors that have things going on (Boardwalk, Central Park, Promenade, and Casino they are all right there when you get off the elevators. Dazzles is a lounge where they usually have the meet and mingle and then at night they have dancing and music in there. We at first thought we would hear Dazzles as when we walked by the music was quite loud, but once we got in the room, surprisingly there was NO noise.

We are booked in 11250, but am seriously considering moving to deck 8 after reading all these posts. We have booked hump cabins in the past on various ships, so mabye that is what I will look for :D

If you could get a hump cabin on deck 8 that would be about as good as it gets IMHO. We have a D5 on 8 that is the first cabin where the curve of the hump begins. The balcony is a tiny bit bigger than normal balconies. but the price was a whole lot smaller from the D1 Humps that are the next cabins over! ;)

We stayed on deck 14 last month and loved it. The views when pulling into port were fabulous and it was to the WJ and the pools and hottubs. The hike down to dinner and entertainment areas wasn't really an issue as there were always free elevators and of course stairs. Actually we are in good health and were eating and drinking like pigs so we ended up taking the steps a lot. I came back 2lbs lighter than when I left which could also be a bonus of booking deck 14.

Well you all convinced me...moved to a hump on deck 8. I always like the hump rooms...and deck 8 sounds like a great location on this ship :D

We were in 8198 (hump cabin) on deck when we sailed on Oasis last October. Great location close to Park Cafe and close to the rear stairs.

Just booked Oasis today for April 2013 and had the agent pick our cabin. So pleasantly surprised - sounds like deck 8 is the popular one and a good one. We are in a AFT balcony. After reading about the Central Park Cafe, I'm super excited we're so close to Central Park. What a wonderful place to spend a morning or to walk thru on our way back to our cabin each day. Can not wait!

We were on deck 14 and loved it. Same deck as AO and right below the sports deck. It was great exercise going up and down the stairs all week:D
