Allure Portofino or Giovannis

We like to have dinner in one of these restaurants. We know there will be a supplement but which one? What did you choose and why?

There is a Chops on Allure, but no Portofino.

Giovanni's only. RCI is phasing out Portofino for GT as ships are "revitalized".

You just can't go wrong with Chops ! Great food and great service ! Enjoy :)

There is not and never has been a Portofino restaurant on the Allure of the Seas.

 

Giovanni's Table is very good; Chops is very good. Some people like the even bigger splurge of 150 Central Park or the even bigger splurge of the Chef's Table.

 

Giovanni's Table is an Italian restaurant, as the name would imply. Chops is the same steakhouse that it is on all RC ships.

I loved Giovanni's and I loved Portofino's...different menus but great food...if you want Italian you will not be disappointed with Giovanni's...

We picked Giovanni's; just leave two hours to enjoy a great meal in a quiet small specialty restaurant.

Then it would have to be Giovanni's :D

As others have said, no Portofino on the Allure.

But worry not, Giovanni's is excellent. My favourite of all the specialties on the Oasis Class.
