Thanks so much for taking the time to post this wonderful review. You have the greatest rugrats. That 6 1/2 year old son of yours has smilling eyes. I can't help myself but smiling when I see his smile. I just wonder if he is as cute as it appears.
Awww, Thanks! He does & he is super cute. He's hilarious too, we call him our family entertainer. :D
I truly love your review and pics. You inspired me to make one of our family cruise too.

Thank-you! I'm about to run out for some errands, but I'm going to read yours too. Can't wait!

Krystin, great pictures! I'm loving seeing even more pics than I've seen. Your review is great too! Your 'youngest son' looks to me like a miniature version of Chris (I think is his name) the trainer on that show Makeover Weight-loss Edition. So many pics I see him in, he has that same expression. I wonder if this is what Chris looked like as a young boy. :D

Ok - so I am a bit behind and going back to the beginning - how was the Inn at the Waterpark? we are thinking about booking for our 10/7 cruise - but wasnt sure how it would work out. I assume the parking while on the cruise was OK? Any info you can share would be great.
I didn't see the cooking demonstation when we were on the Magic. It looks like a lot of fun and yummy! Was there a charge? Did you find it in the Fun Times?
I "found" it for the lst time on the Miracle in May, 2011. It was listed in the Fun Times. No charge...all the food was very good, but very small portions too! :(:(:(

Thank-you! The ledge is great for the little ones. Some friends we met from our roll call had one of the family OV rooms for 4 people & they had a huge window ledge.

Thanks Tammy! LOL, I haven't seen the show, I'll have to try and look. :)

We did like Inn at the Waterpark & I think parking is fine. My parents left their car there for the week as did others & it was just fine. We were just there at a very busy time/weekend. :) Hope that helps. Oh & the kids really enjoyed that the mini golf was included & the rooms were large & very nice. Polite staff & breakfast was a basic complimentary one.

Hi Christie. It was fun & yummy. No, there was not a charge & it is in the Fun Times, 1st sea day. I pulled my Fun Times from when we all went in December & it shows it too, so guess we just missed it. LOL!

I then met up with DH & we got the kiddos from CC & had oldest DS meet us for a little lunch. I wasn't too hungry though, LOL, but they had cheeseburgers & pizza. And of course, there was ice cream.

One of the wonderful people from our roll call put together & arranged a cocktail party. It was for 2:00, so after the ice cream, we took the younger 2 kids to CC & we headed to Deck 5, The Vibe dance club. Oldest DS came with us for a minute & then he headed out to go walk & people watch, which he did a lot, he enjoyed it. :)

Mom tried a drink & said it was a little sour.

Someone on our cruise is putting together a coctail party - but we arent big drinkers - would be fun to go - but not worth money if we arent going to drink.

I agree. We aren't big drinkers either, but we did make sure we drank enough to make it worth it. ;) That was actually the most I drank the entire cruise & I really didn't go over board with it. We did enjoy it all though.

So glad you posted about the cooking demonstration! I had forgotten about it! I showed up 15 minutes early and it was already full :(

Looking forward to going to it in November!

Yes, you so have to go in November! It's crazy how it filled up so quickly too! We almost missed out. Have you had a spa balcony yet on the Magic? I see you will be next year.

At 4:00, Mom & I along with the younger 2 kids, went to Camp Carnival for the Build/Stuff a bear event. It was a treat for youngest DS from my parents & we picked out a few clothes as a treat from us.

Wish I had a better picture of him dancing, but I had to act fast. LOL. All the sudden he could hear the 'Shuffling' song as he calls it & he just started 'Shuffling' dancing right there, but not for too long. :)

I will say that we had wonderful service in the MDR, the only negative thing we had happen, was trying to get chocolate milk for the younger 2. It would be dessert time the 1st night & the 2nd night before they got it & my Mom, politely, but to the point, said something to one of our assistant waiters. Every night for the rest of the cruise, the milk was ready & poured within minutes of us sitting down.

Our youngest is our picky, picky, picky eater. LOL. He was so excited to see they had steamed rice. The boy was happy for sure.

I'm still loving your review - thank you for taking the time to post it!

Your family looks like a great bunch! I'm sure the kiddos will have amazing memories of this trip for years to come!

Love all of the Longhorn paraphernalia. In fact, I got that same burnt orange lanyard for DH!

Hook 'em!

No spa balcony yet! We LOVE the coves but I talked DH into an upper level balcony next year. I loved the spa last November and plan to spend lots of time there next year. This year we are bringing the kids so I won't have all that spare time lol!

Was your meet and greet party the one that you arrange through Carnival for a certain amount of time and an open bar??? We are looking into doing that for our Carnival Ecstasy Roll Call
