Why am I getting a link rather than an image?

I clicked on your link. I then placed my mouse pointer over your picture, right clicked on it, and selected copy, came here, and hit paste, and this came up. So, just do the copy and paste:

Cant figure out what I am doing wrong.

 

I can copy a photo from Flickr ...no problem, but I have to copy the ULR and have the setting on BBCode. Works Great!

 

 

When I try to do a copy and paste on my Picasa photos, all I get is a link, no photos. ....Actually, I can't copy and paste a photo from Flickr either, it has to be the link.

I have a mac if that matters.

 

Can anyone help?

Ok the copy paste on the photo does not work for Flickr.

 

 

This is what work for Flickr:

-Open photo

-Click on share photo

-Click on Grab HTML /BBCode

-Make sure the BBCode is clicked

-Choose your size , then highlight and copy the code

-Paste in a cruise critic reply

 

Still haven't figured out Picasa

OK - got it

You have to right click on copy image URL

- then paste inside the little yellow mountain icon at the top of the message screen.

- Didn;t see a way to resize it yet.
