Table for two at feast at Lele?

Have been reading luau reviews and noticed that the feast at Lele was described as table service and more "intimate" than Old Lahaina Luau...does this mean you can actually get a table for two or are there large tables only?

Yes, we got a table for two directly in front of the great entertainment & they have some larger tables (not as large as picnic tables at some mass market luaus) but by booking early we got a table for two. It's more expensive than the top rated Old Lahaina Luau but thought that the Feast at Lele (Lele was the original Hawaiian name for the Lahaina area) was worth the extra cost. Table service in a quiet, more intimate location across from the beach was great. The 4 courses from each different Polynesian culture including performances depicting each culture with each course was wonderful. On the menu they even suggest drinks from each one but I couldn't finish a beer from each one after beginning with a Mai Tai.

Feast at Lele is like a great dinner show across from the beach & the executive chef also has the adjacent highly rated restaurants with entrees beginning at $35+ per person. The OLL was great but the Feast at Lele was amazing & worth the extra cost to us.

Unlike the buffet & limited table drink service at the OLL, everything is served at your table so we thought it was appropriate to add a tip for the wonderful service. :)

I've never been to a luau where there weren't larger tables...no "private" tables....that sort of defeats the "party" atmosphere!

Feast at Lele isn't a 'luau' but is an amazing Polynesian dinner show in an more intimate setting across from the beach with what I'd consider gourmet food.

If someone wants a party luau singing Tiny Bubbles & bringing people on stage while seated at picnic tables, then the Feast at Lele isn't for them. ;)

We went in February this year, a wonderful experience. Not exactly a traditional luau, but has most of the elements, in a beautiful, upscale and intimate setting right on the beach. (Also loved`Ulalena, but that's another story!)

MOST of the tables are for two. If you have a group of four or more, they will put some together if you ask for that when you reserve. The seating area is gently terraced so all tables have good views. No one is more than maybe 30 feet from the stage!

There are dozens of amateur tourist videos from The Feast at Lele on YouTube, but one that gives you a good feel for the setting and shows the seating arrangement right away is this short one by Nancy and Shawn Power, who also did a nice review here on CC of their Pride of America cruise earlier this year:

If you have yet to experience a Hawaiian luau, you could pick one of the others for a more "traditional" experience. We'd done 3-4 over the years and had gottten a little jaded by the "standard formula" so The Feast was a refreshing and delightful change.
