Cate M. Posted October 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2012 The Dawn left Quebec and was to be sailing yesterday and today heading towards Portland, Maine. Looks like they are tied up. Anyone know where? They are heading towards their winter cruise port of Tampa.
orangegrove Posted October 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Per NCL: Norwegian Jewel is en route to Port Canaveral, Florida and will arrive as scheduled on Tuesday, October 30. Norwegian Dawn is in Halifax, Nova Scotia today and will overnight there. Guests on board these vessels will be kept up to date by the ship’s Captain. sheldyl Posted October 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I have family on the Dawn; in fact, I was to set said with them and changed my mind. I found information on the front page of cruise critic that they were to be overnight in Nova Scotia. Has anyone out there heard anything more? I have been in touch with family as of yet. I appreciate any information anyone can provide as I am keeping family informed. Dotty

biker@sea Posted October 31, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 31, 2012 Dawn will overnight in Boston. bob brown Blue Ribbon Cruiser Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: flushing, ny Posts: 3,404 "Almost Live from the Norwegian Dawn" We just returned to the ship, after a visit to friends at Cambridge, to hear the latest....we are now going to spend the night here at Boston, with a planned 11:00 AM departure. Looks like we are going to skip New York, enroute to our next call at Norfolk. What we are going to do with all those extra sea days I don't know, but I will enjoy them regardless. My thoughts are though, with those back home suffering from the effects of the storm. Really rough for them. I'll post again at our next port.... __________________
