Venice to airport

If my hotel is near the train station, how complicated is it to get to the airport, next month?

train station is on the main square..bus there to airport...search on cruise critic..full details are posted a few times..I have not done for awhile so will not say more as I may be out of date with info

The train station is on the Grand Canal, almost directly across from the Train Station. Assuming you can easily manage your luggage, you would walk across the Calatrava Bridge to the Piazzale Roma where you catch the ATVO airport express bus to the airport, 20 minutes away. Mapleleaves meant the train station is directly across from the bus terminal. The blue buses in the photo are the express ATVO airport buses. The bridge has steps. I'm told there are helpers available for the price of a tip. It's 450 yards from the centre of the plaza in front of the train stn. to the bus stop.

Very easy, walk across the bridge and catch a cab.

Another option is the AVTO boat. It takes about an hour but is a lovely way to say goodby to Venice.
