We used FTTF on the Valor Jan 27 out of Miami, we arrived at the port around 11:30. We were with friends who were Platinum, we both went through passport checks and security together and then went our seperate ways. FTTF had a checkin line with two agents we had a about a 10 min wait and after receiving our sail and sign cards we went directly on board. When we got to our room, our platinum friends had just got there and our rooms were ready. Our luggage arrived in seperate deliveries mine first and DW about an hour later. We used the priority tender at Grand Cayman with our platinum friends and that worked out very well, we went to the lobby and were escorted to deck 0 and had a much smaller line. At debarcation we were given two sets of tags, zone 2 and zone 23, we could decide to get off the ship early or take our time. We did it because we were with our platinum friends, and were able to easly travel together

The faster to fun worked great for us!!! Doesn't matter to us how fast we would of got on without it! There are other perks we used too!!! I will do it every cruise I take in the future if offered. All our travel buddies loved it also!!!:D:D;);)

I hope you didnt take my question the wrong way. I was curious to know if arriving that early did it make a difference with the waiting onboard.

Did you get a zone number or are the FTTF people waiting in a seperated area?

No, with the faster to fun pass we registered in the VIP area. The first announcement was for VIP and faster to fun cruisers. We just went to the area to board. We were given a Priority pass not a zone pass. They never separated the VIP's from the faster to fun cruisers.

We also went right to our room with our carry ons and put them in our room then headed up to the lido.

When we first arrived at the port there was a line already forming outside the door to go in. The only ones allowed to enter were the VIP's and faster to fun cruisers. Not a lot of people in the regular waiting area when we were called to board. I don't know how long it took for them to start calling out the zones. The ship was really empty when we were up on the lido for lunch.;);)

I keep seeing posts about FTTF. What does this stand for and what exactly is it? I have cruised before but have not heard of this.

Any explanation would be nice. Thank you.

FTTF = "Faster To The Fun"

it's available on some Carnival ships and offers perks like priority boarding, access to your room immediately, priority tenders and more - and is $50 per stateroom.

I used it on the Valor last week. From the time I got off the coach bus that brought us to the port to the time I got on the ship It took 15 minutes at 1:00 pm. I got my bags a half hour later. We beat about 30-40 people who were still waiting in the regular line so I thought it was amazing. We didn't see any "priority" line when we were waiting for the boats to take us to land at the Cayman Islands though. We also tried the Guest Services number for FTTF and nobody ever picked up... all and all, I thought it was worth it and would purchase it again in a heart beat. Just have to figure out where I want to go next... lol:D

FTTF- faster to the fun. by pass lines instead of standing in them to check in.

go directly to your cabin instead of carrying around your stuff until 1:30 when cabins become available for the general public.

if your port includes a tender you can bypass those lines too

some other stuff too

cost is 49. per cabin not per person

Hi all..quick questions for anyone that has used FTTF in Tampa.... Do we use the priority check in line? Any difficulties using this at the Tampa port? We are going on the Paradise next Monday to Grand Cayman and Cozumel so any advice would be welcome!

Hi!

I am booked on a charter cruise in October... Does anyone know if FTTF is available on a chartered cruise? Thanks!

Do you see it listed under your excursions page?

Sometimes it is offered.. most times it is not. Depends on the charter booking

When you arrive at the pier show the person manning the door your boarding pass. (which should have the FTTF logo on the top right hand corner)

they will direct you to where you need to go)

with grand cayman being a tendered port-- you have priority tender there too
