heart347 Posted December 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2012 I think it would be awesome if The Haven included extras such as a liquor package and maybe gratuities. Any thoughts?

familyof4cruising Posted December 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2012 NCL has something very unique with their Haven suites. They do not have to include anything to sell them out. I know that RCCL has free cocktail hours every night for their suite guest, but they don't have the Haven area. Every cruise line has their own perks. david_sobe Posted December 10, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2012 I would like to see access to all specialty restaurants. I would not care if they added the cost to my cruise fare.

I know the Haven is a special place and everyone has there own perks, but I think it will help them be a little more competitive with the Luxury Cruise market. Just my opinion. I was thinking about trying a luxury cruise line because of the service and all inclusive nature, and I though I could just do a Haven Suite for the same cost. :) While I would prefer NCL because it is my fav, having those extras would help my decision. :)
anthem Posted December 10, 2012 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2012 because at the end of the day NCL is still an a la carte cruise line. . . The suites are those who will pay more for a better room/suite with some better services, but people cruising it aren't looking for a luxury all inclusive cruise and they aren't going to get that part of the market segment. . . As someone wrote earlier - the people who take seabourn/crystal/etc don't want to mingle with the thongs, tramp stamps, etc It's a different class of ship, and not just a better room on the same class of ship. anthem Posted December 11, 2012 #15 Share Posted December 11, 2012 Actually I think it would be awesome if guests of the Haven included: -Free dining in any venue at any time. -The unlimited drink package for all guests -Free internet -Dedicated Butler 1:1 per room. -Make every haven room the size of the GV Villa -Free shore excursions -Private casino -Airfare included from anywhere in the world. Hey - private charter would be great as well. . . Obviously included in the haven cruise fare price without raising it. . . . . Hey we can always ask for anything. But lines have to be drawn somewhere - and obviously people have different ideas on where they should be drawn.

scamper Posted December 21, 2012 #18 Share Posted December 21, 2012 Well, glad I found this thread--just what I was looking for! At several hundred dollars per day, per person I was hoping liquor was included in the fare, as you would find on most luxury lines for the same fare. Looks like I will be sticking with the premium and luxury lines. Happy cruising!
WaldosPepper Posted December 22, 2012 #19 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Well, glad I found this thread--just what I was looking for! At several hundred dollars per day, per person I was hoping liquor was included in the fare, as you would find on most luxury lines for the same fare. Looks like I will be sticking with the premium and luxury lines. Happy cruising! There are several categories of suites which have liquor included in their fare. Owner's Suites and Deluxe Owner's Suites come with Champagne at sail away, as well as three bottles (chosen from a menu), mixers, unlimited soda and bottled water. Garden Villas come with all of the above, except they receive six bottles of liquor. Suites on NCL come with perks not found on other lines, particularly Haven Suites. For many of us, those perks are well worth the price, particularly if we're looking to get away and relax without having to adhere to a schedule for dining, as well as restrictive dress codes on specific evenings, etc. Thank heavens there are so many choices, so each of us can choose to travel in the manner we prefer. ;) Enjoy your cruises, whichever line you choose. I understand "different strokes for different folks", but what lines include the "free" perks at the same price as NCL? I truly would like to take a look as it might be worth trying a different line.
