atb Posted February 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Received an email inviting me to take a survey about our last cruise - should take about 20 minutes. So far I've spent more than an hour on the thing, and not half way done. I complete one question and hit next, and the page won't turn. After several minutes, the page returns. I really want to complete the survey - but I'm about ready to quit. Has anyone else completed the survey, is there something I can do to make things work more smoothly?
leaveitallbehind Posted February 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Yes - and it all went smoothly and took less than 20 minutes. Sounds like maybe a browser issue? But I had no problems.
tahqa Posted February 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2013 I did it last night and it's not a browser issue, it's a server issue. It took me almost two hours to complete it last night. It took several minutes after every question to connect back to the server to get the next question. If there weren't issues from my last cruise on Liberty that I really wanted to bring up I wouldn't have even bothered. Dashman Posted February 9, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Glad I'm not the only one that had issues!!! Gave up after about an hour. I will try again today.
luv2zdworld Posted February 9, 2013 #9 Share Posted February 9, 2013 I ended up doing it in two sessions. The first one took about an hour and took me about a third of the way. The next day I decided to try again and took about 30 minutes to finish.

Spring Valley Posted February 9, 2013 #11 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Same thing here, quit several times and came back to it and it finally started to work right. Wanted to find a spot to complain about the survey and how long it took to complete! Keith
DmnDva Posted February 9, 2013 #12 Share Posted February 9, 2013 So glad to hear i'm not the only one! So frustrated by it. I'm hoping there's a question at the end asking about the ease of completing the survey!
Rare VernRDH Posted February 9, 2013 #13 Share Posted February 9, 2013 I had the same problem-took forever. But again, I wanted to let them know about an issue we had, so I bit the bullet and forged on. Now lets see if they contact me at all.

gfd_2 Posted February 10, 2013 #15 Share Posted February 10, 2013 I've done the surveys in '11 and '12 with no issues. The site may be running slow due to the number of users accessing the site.
tahqa Posted February 10, 2013 #16 Share Posted February 10, 2013 What were your issues on Liberty ? Nothing major. It was mostly about activities skewing heavily towards the extra pay and infomercial type things. Each day only had one general trivia and then a music trivia around dinner time. But I've been griping about that with Liberty since at least last year. Also I wanted to let them know that the art auctioneer was an idiot. He did an art tour of the ship and was outright wrong in several instances, which, if I was inclined to buy art on a ship, would make me not inclined to buy from him.
stretchcruz Posted March 4, 2013 #17 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I have been working on the survey for 2 weeks!!!! Freeze, freeze, freeze, the little circle thing. I work full time so I have been trying to do it as I can. This weekend every chance I got I went on to try to complete it. I get to a question, answer it, hit next, it brings back the same question with the answer I already gave. After hitting next 4 times I give up for hours then come back. It is SO frustrating! I sent them an email telling them so. I am near the end now, and I am determined not to give up!!!
Pomperaugrr Posted March 4, 2013 #18 Share Posted March 4, 2013 It took an hour and 20 minutes for me. I tried different browsers, and it is definitely a server issue. Eric
stretchcruz Posted March 4, 2013 #19 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Well, I've been on the work full time screen for about 5 hours now, I'll return tomorrow when I can.....just keep getting the wheel turning. I'm glad I'm not crazy!!
daytona Posted March 4, 2013 #20 Share Posted March 4, 2013 The past two Ive done had server problems it seems. My time is more valuable than wasting time with this survey company.
crookedhalo Posted March 4, 2013 #21 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Ha! I've gotten two invites, but when I follow the link it says my information is invalid (the user name/password they supply), so I've not been able to even get into it:p

dreamer976 Posted March 5, 2013 #23 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Tried to take the survey e-mailed to me about my last cruise in January and couldn't get past the "pre-reservation" part of it! I would hit "NEXT" and it would just keep bringing me back to the same page. Tried again the next day and the same thing happened so I just hit delete. About three days later found it again in my new mail and when I clicked on it, was taken right back to the same page that I couldn't get past originally and guess what, . . . still couldn't get past it. I just hit REPLY w/a message to send me a survey that I can actually complete. By the way, DS had told me about one week prior that she had the same issues as most of you (waiting, waiting, waiting) and had already spent about three times the "20 minutes" and was getting angry. Chock it up to those wonderful IT people at Royal again!
KeiEdy Posted March 5, 2013 #24 Share Posted March 5, 2013 I should have known to check Cruise Critic to see I was not the only one having problems completing the survey. I tried a few times duirng the past 10 days.....finally tonight I was able to complete it....about 30 minutes.
