Hey all,

Don't know if this has been posted before but I suppose its good to refresh it anyway

You can get 100% extra in the casinos on board NCL ships by buying $25 of credit through slotplaycoupons.com and you get $50 credit on-board, check out the link below.

http://slotplaycoupons.com/destination/Norwegian+Cruise+Line

BTW - just in case anyone gets upset - I am in no way connected to this company - I'm just letting people know so they can get a bonus in the casinos on board NCL

I am a little confused....how do you get the 50 dollars on board credit. Is the credit just in the slots are can it go towards your bill ? And if so, how do you get the on board credit ? I looked at the site and it says 25 for 50. Is that what is being discussed.... sorry, a little slow this morining. Need my coffee

I'll see if I can explain (haven't had much coffee either)...

Take the slotplay coupon to the casino desk. They will verify the voucher and add it to your casino card and give you a little piece of paper with instructions for downloading the $$ from your account to your choice of slot machines. Some of them don't take promotional credits but they are clearly labeled. You can download any amount from $10 to $50. If you are lucky and have a winning spin, you can then cash out but the amount left from the original download stays in the machine. Say you put $10 in a machine and hit for $20. You can cash out $10 of the $20 (you'll get a paper voucher). Just play with the downloaded $$ and cash out when you "hit". You can then load in whatever remains in your account in another machine or the same one, your choice. You can spend it all the first night or spread it over the length of your cruise.

I would just be sure the money actually goes into your account. My last cruise, I took the slotplay coupon to the casino host and she said she downloaded it to my card. I didn't notice until later in the cruise, that it was not on my card. It was eventually straightened out but it would've been easier if I'd have noticed sooner.

I think that's clear as mud. :eek::confused::rolleyes:

Got it..... I think ....lol. Actually I do understand the way the slot coupon goes now. I got confused when I saw "on board credit" in the first post. I was thinking normal OBC towards your bill. But I got it now.

Thanks, (going to get another cup of coffee ;))

Hey, thanks everyone for the info here. Does anyone else wonder why the credits can't be used in any machine? After many Vegas trips, I confess to being wary of being made to play machines of their choice. Anyone have any luck with the bonus money?

Again, thanks for the info!

I have NEVER come across any of the slot machines that the slotplay or NCL coupons didn't work in. ;) So, I'm not sure what that is about. I have never seen a sign that said that and I have been able to use it in all of the machines I've played. (Now mind you I don't play any of the big money machines like the $1 or so on).

If it is video poker the odds do not favor the casino as much as pure slots. I believe that is why they do not work in some/all the video poker machines. As for different versions of slots, I do not know.

Yea, I can't talk for the video poker and those video card games and using these coupons. I have never tried those before. I have just used the regular slot machines and never had a problem. So maybe that's the machines they don't work in?

Hello!

I have never used such a coupon, therefore, I was wondering what this means: Free Player's Club membership at this casino is required to redeem

Second question I would have is whether I will be able to play roulette with this credit on the Jade? Either on a table or a machine (if available on the Jade?)

Kind regards

Georg

When you start to play a machine....you cannot cash out the ticket because they don't want you to go & redeem for cash..........they want it spent on machine..........any winnings is fine to cash out....but until you have gambled the $50 in the machine....the machine will not allow you to cash it out.

Same w/the $20 for $10 that NCL offers...........makes sense otherwise some would just put in machine...do one spin...then cash in the ticket. The reason for promotion is to get you to gamble.

Hi, thanks for the information. We were planning on buying the $10 for $20 and the $25 for $50, 1 for DH and myself, as they say only 1 p/p.

Where did you find $50 for $100, please? We will be on a 17 night extended cruise...Can you put all in the machine or do they hold some back till after the 14th day?

Thanks very much in advance....We're leaving April 21st on the Jewel....:)

This is true, but you don't have to play all $50 in one machine. You can download any portion (in full dollars) from your card into the machine, and that's the amount you have to play out. For example, you can insert your "loaded" card, download $10, play out that $10, cash out any winnings and move on - then you can do the same again in the next machine, until your $50 is gone (therefore using 5 machines if you only download $10 per machine). Hope this makes sense!

Can't help you much with the second question - but I know you cannot use it on table play - you *should* be able to use it on the roulette machine though. Have never tried it, but it should work with any machine that has a place to insert your CAS card to track your play.

First question is easy. In order to play the casino credit, you need to sign up for the Casinos At Sea Player's Club (takes 3 minutes at the casino desk) - like any casino's frequent player's club that tracks your play. Then you will receive a membership card which they will "load" up with your "free play". You will insert that card in any machine, download whatever amount you wish to play on that machine, and play it out. The reason you need to sign up is to get the card to download your play onto - and also so that CAS can track your play, seeing if you are a good "candidate" for future offers and advertising...

I know exactly what you are talking about. Several years ago I remember seeing those "stickers" on some popular machines on NCL, not allowing promotional play, much like most LV casinos. In the past several years, though, I can't remember ever seeing stickers on any machines I wanted to play. I have used them on all kinds of slots (video slots, Quick Hits, Cashman, Goldfish, etc, etc, etc). Don't remember ever trying the promo credit on VP, but I assume they work there as well - seems like they work in any machine which has a slot to insert your card to track your play.. The reasoning behind the "stickers" was that the casinos wanted you to use the promo dollars on less popular machines, therefore attracting others to play those same machines, filling up the casino with more people. They didn't let us use them on the machines that were always busy because those machines were already popular and didn't need any help. I have seen them less and less everywhere though, even in Vegas in the past few years
