Waterproof wallet

Recommended Posts

I am getting ready for my first cruise and have gotten a lot of great tips on this board. I am having a hard time finding a waterproof wallet-type thing to carry cash, credit cards and sail and sign card in when we go ashore. Does anyone know a good place to find these?

Thank you,

Bridget

Try to find a Coleman store in your location, yes a Coleman lantern store. They have waterproof bags in a pack of three different sizes for $3.99 at the Birch Run store in Michigan. You should be able to find a location on the internet. I purchased a set for our cruise in Sept ( sting Ray City tour) I am 75 and super carefull about important doctuments.

:D We have "Waterproof Wallets" BUT actually prefer to use small "Zip-Lock Freezer Bags"!!! :D

We take a supply of them and just use a new one for each excursion. The small freezer bags are best ... but, we've also used those "snack sized bags" without a problem ....

You can get them at a dive shop - they have tons. My mom and I bought square ones last year and they had just enough room for our S&S cards, licenses, and we also put our traveler's checks/cash in them IN a ziplock bag. Just because they're waterproof doesn't necessarily mean they can't leak a bit :)

Any of the outdoor type of stores sell them,

I bought one in Pennsylania at a Gander Mountain store once, they sold them in the camping section, the fishing section... As well as mentioned Dive shops...

Have fun :)
