Airport Transfers............

Recommended Posts

Arriving into Fremantle harbour, what is the best way to get to Perth Airport please and an idea of costs for two people?

Thanks...........

I suggest taking a transfer sold by the ship. It is probably cheaper than a taxi that usually costs at least $65. I have heard that there is a bus company that also sells transfers from the harbour to the airport, but we have only used the ship's transfers.

There is Fremantle Airport Shuttle and cost about $15 each in 2011 - we had a large group on it once we put the info up on our meet and greet and it was a great way for many of us to meet up.

We used it both ways and the more people in the group the cheaper it was.

Here is the link to the shuttle from Fremantle to Perth International Airport - I did a "quick" booking for two in April - and it came out at $44.00. There are times etc - and you can do your own calculation - and on line booking and there is an email contact as well.

Hope this helps. You will probably have to copy and paste into your browser if it doesn't open up here.

Is getting the train a option to the city?

Glen

Yes, it is a couple of hundred yards down the road from the Port - on the same side. When you are going over the bridge - look to your right - and there is the train station. The train goes into Perth - and in the Perth concourse is luggage storage - http://www.perth.wa.gov.au/web/Living/Comm...ce-Rest-Centre/

You will get directions to where it is in the concourse on the site - and you could also email as well
