Yes if you use one CC on two cabins the occupants of the other cabin should be with you when you check in.

I know the pride is not offering fttf....this would be my kids 1st cruise and don't want to leave them out there not knowing what to do...

You could do it the old fashioned way and wait in the regular lines with them.

We did this on Liberty back in April. We were treating friends to onboard expenses and they were able to board Priority with us.

I am platinum and when I booked another room for my children (grown) I have always linked not just to get them on at the same time but because I was truly paying for the trip. Always had priority printed (well VIP up to last Oct) on their passes as well. This time I did the same thing I have been doing for many, many, years yet theirs did not show priority, I called Carnival and asked. She said that this is the way they are doing it now. I have had lots of comments on this board that only the room with the platinum person in it had their cards in the VIP lounge. I will be testing this out in less than 2 weeks and come back and let others know. As far as the website-it has not been updated recently for several changes. I honestly would not believe anything that has any part of IT connected to it from carnival. I think their IT department is run by LaLa Loopsy!

Never mind ...found it on carnivals website....if there linked to one sign and sail they board with me....thanks

Unless they're minors, not anymore. This was not allowed in Galveston anymore three weeks ago. Purchase FTTF, or they board with regular boarding. Not allowed in lounge. Not checking in with you. They have a list of eligible cabins and the cabins no longer show up on the list like they used to.

I know when we sail June 23, I puchased the FTTF pass for my family and we also got 2 cabins and was required to purchase one for each cabin.

Why the mad face? It is advertised as one per cabin. Doesn't matter if you have five cabins booked, if you want all five to have Fttf then all must purchase.

Talk to my pvp and he said it would be fine since we're all family and the kids are minors under 21 and were linked to the sign and sail

Let us know how this works out. Since the kids are minors under 21, they probably will be allowed to board with you on the same credit card.

I think personally if everyone needs to board together then they should have to go through the regular line not the VIP line. It is getting crowded enough in the VIP area with the cabins that are supposed to be there.

It is great that VIP's and FTTF people want to to pay for there friends and family Sail and Sign account, but if they want to get on the ship at the same time then they should have to wait with them in the normal boarding area.

Wow, what ship?

This was my first cruise as Platinum. We were the first ones at the port. (8:30 am) When we walked to the Priority line, the lady behind the counter checked our passports and boarding passes and sent us to the VIP lounge. We four were escorted to the counter where another lady printed our four cards-DH's gold, our friends' blue, and my platinum. There were no questions, no issues. It was simple.

Sorry you had problems.

BTWm what in ymmv?

I admit, we have taken advantage of this in the past. I am platinum, and our friends in another cabin were not. I would do the online checkin and use my credit card for their cabin, so the got to board with me through VIP boarding.

Done this with various friends over the years and it worked well until this year. They sent them back to the regular line to board. I told them their cabin was on my credit card. They said they would go through regular checkin, get their cards, and they we would all go to guest services for me to put their account under my credit card.

The truth is, we usually in the past checked them in under my card, and then went to guest services and took my card off and they put their card on their account. In the past this worked, but this year in Pt Canaveral, Ft Lauderdale and Miami, that did not work. They made them checkin and get their cards, and then sent them to guest services.

So the old way of sneaking people in on your credit card is no longer working all the time. Obviously Carnival got wise to this.

Were you all in the same Cabin? If so that would not be a problem.

I know for sure that in Galveston, if your children are minors and in a seperate cabin, they can go thru VIP check in with you. If they are not, they must use the regular line.

My kids were 18 @ 8, when I got to the first security point, I told them they were traveling with me and the staff made a call to confirm this...they made a note on their boarding pass for the VIP desk.
