You can take the city bus here for $2.50 PP each way. Drinks cost a lot on this Island. It might be cheaper to drink on the ship! We take the city bus to Cementery Beach and snorkel for free. After that we walk back to Tiki Bar and get the city bus from there. I am sure you can google Tiki Bar for prices.

Good luck,

Relax and Enjoy life.

Tiki Beach's website can be found here:

http://www.tikibeachcayman.net/

There are a number of similar beach clubs along Seven Mile Beach. All are easily accessible by bus or taxi, and most are free (Royal Palms - http://royalpalmscayman.com/ - is the exception at $2pp) so as others have said, there's no need for an excursion to visit the beach in Cayman. Royal Palms and Tiki Beach are my two favourite beach clubs, but if you have kids you might prefer Public Beach (Calico Jacks) since there is a playground there.

Hubby rented a waverunner at Sea Grape Beach area.....It was under $100 for about 45 mins....he had a blast! There is food/drink/restrooms right there, too. The bus took us and brought us back....you do not need an "excursion" to do anything beach related at this port.

I have a related question. Are there any other all-inclusive type of packages other than the Tiki one offered by the cruise line?

Carnival offers BBQ food and unlimited beer, rum punch and soft drinks when you take their Tiki beach excursion.

I've read somewhere either on the boards here or Royal Palms website that the pools area (in case you want to dip into the pool) was adult only.

Going with my Son, DIL & 15 year old grandson. I'm a baby boomer and might like some time in the shady are there any shady areas.

Also some people have mention Calico Jacks. Where along 7 mile beach is it located.

Thanks so much,

Marcy

Yes, Royal Palms has an adults-only pool. Pretty much all of the beach clubs will have lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent.

In order of distance (closest first) from the port area:

Hello,

Just wondering where I could find out about the cost of beach / watersport rentals during this excursion. Carnival offers a welcome beverage and BBQ, just wondering what other costs could be associated

Thanks in advance

We are thinking about doing the same thing. Did you do this and how was it? We are going on our cruise on June 28.:)
