UPDATED List of Current Cruise Directors (CD)

A few CD handovers were possible for this weekend. Can someone tell us, as of Sunday's sailings:

 

Who is on Explorer, John Blair or Leigh Xuereb? (Will the handover occur tomorrow?)

 

Who is on Liberty, Jerome Sueur or Rich Edwards? (Will the handover occur tomorrow?)

 

Also:

 

Is Rico still on Legend? (He should be scheduled for a break soon, before he goes over the Vision in November for a long contract of 5-6 months)

 

Is Jimmy still on Mariner? (It's been more than 4 months, unless he is on a longer than the usual contract there)

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing. Or, perhaps he is going a week in advance of Leigh to provide a smoother transition. Either way is likely, and a good guess. lol

 

Hopefully someone boarding tomorrow will post here and confirm if the CD is still John or Leigh.

We recently sailed the Vision through the Norwegian Fjords. Topi was about as awful a CD as we've ever encountered ... immature and better suited for the teen program. He and his AD, Patrick, appeared to enjoy each other's company more than the passengers'. Joff remains our favorite.

Too soon to predict the rotation that far in advance, especially since one of the regular CDs (Ken Rush) will be leaving that ship shortly to start preparing for the delivery of Quantum.

Jimmy isn't on any ship right now. He has been on break for the past 4-6 weeks. I asked him on fb if he'd be on the Granduer for the Jan 3 rd cruise that I will be on and he said no, he'd be cruising in Asia again.

Was on my first ever cruise there, 4th August on Liberty Of The Seas, and thought Jerome was an excellent cruise director, Cuddy was hilarious too. Couldn't imagine anyone else apart from them two doing it.

 

Couldn't believe when I found out that was his first time as CD?

 

My wife and I sailed on our first together Sept 8-15th. Couldn't agree with you more. Jerome and Cuddy doing the "Morning Show" was very entertaining. We had the pleasure of interacting with them a few times and they both were excellent and a credit to RC.

Oasis OTS - Dave Chapman September 14 until November 16. (then who, since Amy has been reassigned to Radiance?) (Frankie will begin as Activities Manager on Oct 5) Rico duBriel expects to be joining Oasis in the Spring/Summer 2014 (after Vision/Panama season)

 

Quantum OTS - Richard Spacey will be taking the ship out, with Ken Rush helping him through the transition. They will likely remain onboard until early January 2015, then Jimmy Rhodes will take over as regular CD of this ship.

Does anyone know (or can anyone find out) who is on Mariner right now?

 

All I have been able to deduce is that Jimmy Rhodes is on his break. Don't know when his break started, when it ends, or if he is scheduled to go back to Mariner or to another ship.

 

Is anyone in contact with Jimmy on social media or such, and can find out when/where Jimmy's next contract begins, and who came onboard Mariner when he left for his break?
