As of now, we only know that Anthony is covering Marc's short 6 day break this week. It has not been confirmed who will be covering his break from Nov 8 through Jan 8, and we really cannot assume that it will be Anthony again, as he has not established a pattern of being the regular fill-in CD on that ship.

They aren't announced officially. Some CD's are more communicative than others about their assignments, and most of the info for this thread comes from CD's posting their schedule on social media or communicating them directly to CC members who report it here. Some ships and some CD's don't have regular assignments, so they don't have as much advance notice, and we don't often find out about that until the last minute.

 

It's highly likely that it will be Ken Rush on your sailing. CD assignments on Allure have been pretty much handing off like clockwork, so there is an established pattern of Ken on for 4 months, followed by Allan on for 2 months. Allan has already said that he will not be on for any December cruises, so he is probably off on Nov 24 or Dec 1, and Ken will be back. Unless Ken gets reassigned, and someone new comes on, but that is highly unlikely for the time being until Ken moves over to assist with the Quantum take out.

 

Maybe someone on Allure can help us out and ask Allan exactly when he is going on break, and to confirm that he will be handing over CD duties to Ken at that time.

Royal Caribbean seems to be having an awful lot of one sailing CDs this month. I don't remember seeing this much in the past. We know some were to go to Miami for Quantum news, but what about all the others?

Hmmm...Allan Brooks confirmed that he was coming onboard for October/November cruises (not beginning in mid-September). Also, his contract is usually 2 months, and Ken's is usually either 2 or 4 months (not 6 weeks), so that supports the handover occurring at the end of the month.

 

It'll be interesting to see if the schedule changed since Allan communicated that info, and if the schedule is deviating from the usual pattern, or if this is one of those notoriously inaccurate RCI emails.

I just looked at the schedule on the RCI website, and RCI does not have a ship in China in January.

"In case you want to post on the current CD's thread, Mark Walker left the ship yesterday to go home for a few days and will be back Friday. Someone named Anthony (missed the last name) is on board now to fill in on the next cruise".

Adventure OTS - Drew Devine started on August 4 (for 4 months?). (Then who? exact handover date needed)

Allure OTS - Ken Rush started July 28 for two months (Sept 29? Oct 6?), then Allan Brooks for October and November, but not December. (Nov 24? Dec 1?) Then Ken again?

 

Brilliance OTS - Steve Davis took over as regular CD of Brilliance on July 27 through mid-November when the ship goes back to Tampa. (then who?)

 

Enchantment OTS - Marc Walker from June 7 through Nov. 8, returning from his vacation on January 8. (Who will be filling in Nov 8 - Jan 8 to cover Marc's vacation?) (per his FB page: Marc is flying home from Nassau on Sept 7 for 6 days, returning on Friday Sept 13. Anthony Richards will be the CD in Marc's absence)

Explorer OTS - John (and Katrina) Blair started August 3 for approximately 2 months (Sept 28? Oct 5?) Leigh Xuereb will be returning from his break at the end of Sept/early Oct for approx 4 months. (Erky from Turkey will be Activities Manager Sept 28, 2013 --February 2014. The morning show will be called "Talking Turkey with Leigh and Erky"!)

 

Freedom OTS - Richard Spacey from Sept 8 until late December (need exact date) then Mike Hunnerup will be covering Richard's break, and Richard should be back mid-to-late February (need exact date).

 

Grandeur OTS - Ricky Matthews Sept 5 thru November 26th, then Jimmy Rhodes Nov 26 through (mid to late?) January. Ricky Matthews will return in (mid to late) January for 4 months. (need exact handover date in January)

Independence OTS - Mike Hunnerup from Sept 7 through November 2. Joff will be returning November 2 for approx 4 motnhs

 

Jewel OTS - Is Dennis Charles still on, or has he handed over CD duties to Carly Boileau as of Sept 8? (or Sept 15?)

 

Legend OTS - Rico du Breil started June 29 (until when? then who?) Topi Ylönen expects to be on Legend (March 17?) to begin the 2014 European Season

 

Liberty OTS - Jerome Sueur started Aug 4 (Cuddy will be filling in as the Activities Manager under Jerome) (until when? then who?)

 

Majesty OTS - Mitch Merucci from August 31 until December 13. (then who?)

Mariner OTS - Jimmy Rhodes started May 19 (until when? then who?)

 

Navigator OTS - Simona Ferraiuolo started April 21 until October 12, then John Perry from October 12 for approx 4 months, then Dave Chapman should be on NV sometime in early to mid February (need exact handover date between John and Dave)

Oasis OTS - Amy Fickert from June 1 through Sept 21, then Dave Chapman until November 16. (then who, since Amy has been reassigned to Radiance?) (Frankie will begin as Activities Manager on Oct 5)

 

Quantum OTS - Richard Spacey will be taking the ship out, with Ken Rush helping him through the transition. They will likely remain onboard until January 2015, then Jimmy Rhodes will take over as regular CD of this ship.

 

Radiance OTS - Bobby and Becky Brown from Sept 6 for approx 2 months, then Amy Fickert in mid-November (per her FB page). (need exact handover date)

Rhapsody OTS - Graham Seymour for the Alaska season beginning May 31 until November 30. He will return on Feb 1. (Who will be filling in Nov 30 through Feb 1)

Serenade OTS - Casey Peltier until Nov 25. Topi Ylönen is joining Serenade on November 25

 

Splendour OTS - Mercedes Fuentes (until Dec 8?) then João Pereira begins Dec 8 for the South American season

 

Vision OTS - Topi Ylönen from Finland started May 11 through Sept 24. Anthony Richards is joining Vision on Sept 24 for revitalization and for Miami cruises and then Rico du Breil for Panama

 

Voyager OTS - Lixin Fang began March 23 through Oct 24 for the Asian season. Who will be CD for the repositioning and for the Australian season?
