He will be on the Freedom until 12/22/13.

 

He will stay on Quantum from take-out "for just a couple of months."

 

Then he starts preparing for Anthem. After that, Oasis III.

Allure OTS - Allan Brooks September 15 through sometime in November, then Ken Rush (need exact handover date)

 

Brilliance OTS - Steve Davis took over as regular CD of Brilliance on July 27 through mid-November when the ship goes back to Tampa. (then who?)

 

Enchantment OTS - Marc Walker from June 7 through Nov. 8, returning from his vacation on January 8. (Who will be filling in Nov 8 - Jan 8 to cover Marc's vacation?)

 

Explorer OTS - John (and Katrina) Blair started August 3 for approximately 2 months (Sept 28? Oct 5?) Leigh Xuereb will be returning from his break at the end of Sept/early Oct for approx 4 months. (Erky from Turkey will be Activities Manager Sept 28, 2013 --February 2014. The morning show will be called "Talking Turkey with Leigh and Erky"!)

 

Freedom OTS - Richard Spacey from Sept 8 until December 22, then Mike Hunnerup will be covering Richard's break from December 22 through mid-late February. Really?!? :eek:

 

In my experience, Jimmy is the worst CD I've ever cruised with, so dull and uninspired. Why in the world would RCI put him on their newest ship, when there are countless more dynamic CDs for them to choose from. Glad we are on the sampler cruise in November, with Richard instead.

 

Very disappointed, as Bayonne is our homeport, we plan to sail Quantum often.

Wonder who will be on my Dec 2013 and FEB 2014 crulses on EOS before we cruise on QOS in end of Jan 2015 and back to Jimmy. Maybe he will have improved his people skills by then. Well, if the pattern continues, it looks like Leigh will be on Ex for December, but will be on break for February. John Blair has said in the past that he will be on Ex regularly, so I am guessing that means that he will be Leigh's regular fill-in (since Leigh is the regular permanent CD of Explorer at this time). Unless something changes.....

Leigh is my favorite of all the CDs I've sailed with (and that includes Richard Spacey who I really like too!). Leigh is every bit as engaging and humorous as Richard, but less zany and more down-to-earth. He's all over the ship, very friendly and approachable, and never annoying or in-your-face. Activities are well-organized, well-scheduled and a whole lot of fun under his directorship.

I apologize! Ken would not be my first choice to deliver a new ship; however, RCCL feels that he is the best choice. I tend to disagree. There are far better and more personable CD's in the company. :rolleyes:

Agreed! I really like Allan too. Our cruise was affected by hurricane Irene, and rain/wind caused the outdoor decks to be closed for two days, and the itinerary had to be changed. He did a great job of keeping everyone busy, and maintaining a spirit of fun. Many people were concerned about their homes, or about their post-cruise flights being canceled (ours was), and again, Allan and his activities staff did a great job keeping spirits and energy up.

Jewel does Sat-Sat cruises so Carly likely started 9/7 instead of 9/8. Also, when I was talking with her on Jewel she mentioned this contract would be 4 months which would mean she'd be on until early January. We didn't talk about who would replace her.

Enchantment OTS - Marc Walker from June 7 through Nov. 8, returning from his vacation on January 8. (Who will be filling in Nov 8 - Jan 8 to cover Marc's vacation?)

 

Explorer OTS - John (and Katrina) Blair started August 3 for approximately 2 months (Sept 28? Oct 5?) Leigh Xuereb will be returning from his break at the end of Sept/early Oct for approx 4 months. (Erky from Turkey will be Activities Manager Sept 28, 2013 --February 2014. The morning show will be called "Talking Turkey with Leigh and Erky"!)

 

Freedom OTS - Richard Spacey from Sept 8 until December 22, then Mike Hunnerup will be covering Richard's break from December 22 through mid-late February. Richard should be back on Freedom for one more contract mid-to-late February until mid-to-late June (need exact dates) before heading over to prepare for Quantum, then to prepare for Anthem, then to prepare for Oasis III.

 

Grandeur OTS - Ricky Matthews Sept 13 thru November 26th, then Jimmy Rhodes Nov 26 through (mid to late?) January. Ricky Matthews will return in (mid to late) January for 4 months. (need exact handover date in January)

 

Independence OTS - Mike Hunnerup from Sept 7 through November 2. Joff will be returning November 2 to the end of March (exact date?). Joff will be returning at the end of May through Sept 2014 (exact dates?) (Fill-in for April and May 2014 not yet know).

 

Jewel OTS - Carly Boileau started Sept 7 Through early January. (Then, Dennis Charles?)

 

Legend OTS - Rico du Breil started June 29 (until when? then who?) Topi Ylönen starts on March 17 for the 2014 European Season

 

Liberty OTS - Jerome Sueur started Aug 4 (Cuddy will be filling in as the Activities Manager under Jerome) (for 2 months?) then Rich Edwards (exact handover date needed)

 

Majesty OTS - Mitch Merucci from August 31 until December 13. (then who?)

 

Mariner OTS - Jimmy Rhodes started May 19 (until when? then who?)

 

Navigator OTS - Simona Ferraiuolo started April 21 until October 12, then John Perry from October 12 until ships goes into drydock on January 5. Then, Dave Chapman when ship returns from drydock on February 5

 

Oasis OTS - Dave Chapman September 14 until November 16. (then who, since Amy has been reassigned to Radiance?) (Frankie will begin as Activities Manager on Oct 5) Rico duBriel expects to be joining Oasis in the Spring/Summer 2014 (after Vision/Panama season)

 

Quantum OTS - Richard Spacey will be taking the ship out, with Ken Rush helping him through the transition. They will likely remain onboard until early January 2015, then Jimmy Rhodes will take over as regular CD of this ship.

 

Radiance OTS - Bobby and Becky Brown from Sept 6 for approx 2 months, then Amy Fickert in mid-November (per her FB page). (need exact handover date)

 

Rhapsody OTS - Graham Seymour for the Alaska season beginning May 31 until November 30. He will return on Feb 1. (Who will be filling in Nov 30 through Feb 1)

 

Serenade OTS - Casey Peltier until Nov 25. Topi Ylönen is joining Serenade on November 25

 

Splendour OTS - Mercedes Fuentes (until Dec 8?) then João Pereira begins Dec 8 for the South American season

 

Vision OTS - Anthony Richards is joining Vision on Sept 24 for revitalization and for Miami cruises (through Nov 13?) and then Rico du Breil for Panama (Nov 13 through April 26?).

 

Voyager OTS - Lixin Fang began March 23 through Oct 24 for the Asian season. Who will be CD for the repositioning and for the Australian season?
