The " Love Boat" was our first cruise together in 1983 - they were filming at that time - sad to see its demise but she started us cruising. Give her a salute. Yes her accommodations and passenger cabins were bare but it showed us how unimportant the cabin is - the entertainment is meeting fellow cruisers and seeing the world.

I was sad to see her go.

We loved our Bermuda cruise on her.

We watched all the Love Boat shows and all the reruns for years.

That's what we have advertised here in AZ, MeTV. We get it over the air or on cable. We will be watching too and trying to get the song out of our heads.:eek::D

Not only were the cabins huge; the passageways were easily twice the width of real ones. In the background people would be seen strolling from one side of the ship towards the other. Where could they be going on the lower decks? The people poolside were always slim and beautiful, just like in real life. :) :) :)
