Dawn to Bermuda 7/19/13-7/26/13...better late than never!

Hi fairygirl1....by next Friday, I assume you mean the 29th?! I haven't seen you in any of the roll call posts, are you there? If not, you really should register so you can come to our Meet & Greet Saturday morning. April has set it up & has her fingers crossed that her request for cocktails will be granted. absolutely loved reading your review, & have been thoroughly entertained while counting the hours we have left until we fly to Boston Thursday & board the Dawn on Friday! I sooooo wish you were coming with us....LOL....what fun we'd have!

Dorhead1230; Great review. I enjoyed it thoroughly and it answered a few questions for me. O'Sheehans has not yet replaced the Blue Lagoon. I'm fine with that but was looking forward to the change. Also you mentioned surf & turf the first night in the MDR. There has been soooooo much talk about no more lobster (other than the pasta dish) which again is fine with me, but I would much enjoy a tail or two. When we board on the 7th of November for the 14 day, I guess we'll find out. Glad they are still offering the mushroom quesadilla's, again one of my favorites. You also mentioned a different hostess in the Casino, do you happen to know if Catalina was still working in there? 74 days and counting till we step foot on the Dawn again. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for your detailed review. The Dawn is one of our favorite ships to Bermuda and repo cruise from Tampa to Boston.

 

We're thinking about booking the Dawn for early next year.

Hi! This review is actually from last summer. Some people just started reading/commenting again, so it got bumped back up :). I am not sure if Dawn had her dry dock yet to make the change to O'Sheehan's. I think the Gem's will be sometime this fall, if I'm not mistaken, and I know they are doing them all little-by-little. There were no lobster tails on the Gem last month, as they had changed to the new menus, but this wasn't a major disappointment for me. There were many very nice options on the menus. Enjoy your cruise! I loved the Dawn, and we're definitely considering returning to her next summer!
