Love your reviews. I think it was your big B2B2B2B review that got me to pull the trigger and go on my first cruise. Thank you for taking the time to do these.

It was a short boat ride to the edge of the big drop. It goes from a depth of about 45 feet to 7000 feet. If you drop anything there it’s gone for good. I had a flotation device (strap) for my camera.

At the 7000 feet drop all you see is light rays and an accompanying eerie feeling.

I did a 360 degree turn video of the drop

Once you are dropped off at the edge you do not get back in the boat. A couple of guides lead us slowly back towards shore, stopping along the way to check out interesting marine life. The boat was with us at all times in case someone needed something. The guides were very helpful, one of them took my camera a couple of time and dove down to take photos of marine life.

This was a fun excursion; the girls really liked the three speeds power snorkel scooters that allowed them to so dive deep without much effort. I’m not much of a diver; I tried a couple of times without success. I found out afterwards that I was trying to do it at the lower speed and I should have had it at top speed. I mostly sat on mine and took photos.

Here is an embarrassing video of me trying to dive like the girls.

Brave admission Mike. We would of never known your intentions. I hope I can get the hang of it with my action cam next week without dropping it into the abyss. Thanks again for getting me even more psyched! Just over 4 days to go! Yee haa!

We called a drop like that in Roatan our "Nemo Moment".

When Tracy got up we went to the gym for a workout followed by going to the Sky Course but unfortunately it was closed.

Now do the tourists dive into the deep deep area or just close? Also how do you steer those gizmos?

It's up to you if you want to dive in the abyss. You steer by simply turning the machine from side to side or up and down. Mike
