Sargent_Schultz Posted October 17, 2013 Author #253 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Luss is the name of the interesting little village we stopped in for a while and before I forget, these pictures were with my snorkel camera. Once the rain mostly stopped, I switched cameras again. Gordon Ross

nybumpkin Posted October 17, 2013 #269 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Never say never! You know, I remember reading your review of your Baltic cruise a few years back and thinking to myself, "Looks like a great cruise but I'll never get there." Then early this year I found myself going back to your review - to help us plan what we wanted to do on our Baltic cruise.

Cindy Posted October 18, 2013 #271 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Thank you! Thank you. The 2 lenses I used on the Nikon were 18-200 (telephoto) and 10-24mm (wide angle). The D7000 isn't full frame so these come out to 27-300mm and 15-36mm. Wide angle lenses can come in very handy but can also have distortion, particularly at the low end. Thank you! I think I'll keep my eyes open for a good used one.
Sargent_Schultz Posted October 18, 2013 Author #272 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Thank you! I think I'll keep my eyes open for a good used one. You're welcome ...or a manufacturer refurbished one. in the case of Nkon, they sell some direct. or check Adorama- you should be able to purchase an extended warranty that includes accidents.
