The Legend is one of our favorite ships. Great photos, thanks
You're welcome and thank you!
Loving the review. Thanks for posting all the photos. One day I'll get back to the UK but hopefully not on a cruise. Want to spend more time than that. :)
Thank you. We stayed for a few days after the cruise in London, so that's one way to do it. :)

I'm really enjoying your pictures...particularly some of the castle and cathedral shots. Having spent my vacation in England and France this summer, I know that those massive structures in bad light aren't always easy to capture!

Were you using a wide-angle lens? My lens only goes down to 15 mm (on a crop frame camera), and I'm debating investing in an ultra wide angle lens (10-22 mm) before my Baltic/St. Petersburg cruise in May.

I can't wait to see more!:)

I disagree with the idea that your photos aren't up to par...as I was looking at them...I was thinking I wouldn't mid having a larger version of several framed for my walls at home. :):):):)

Thank you!

Thank you. The 2 lenses I used on the Nikon were 18-200 (telephoto) and 10-24mm (wide angle). The D7000 isn't full frame so these come out to 27-300mm and 15-36mm.

Wide angle lenses can come in very handy but can also have distortion, particularly at the low end.

Loving the review and beautiful photos! I hope there's more!

Thank you and there is lots more - I got ahead of my captions and am trying to figure out, remember what stuff is.

Thank you for the time and consideration in posting another photo intensive review!

You are so nice to share your cruises with all of CC!

I love the sunrise pics and the black swans....just lovely!

You're welcome and thank you!

I shall endeavor to persevere, captions or no.

Next up was Glasgow/Greenock. We did a Loch Lomond , Stirling and Trossachs Tour with Gordon Ross (Excellent tour guide). We ran into Gordon in another port and he always remembered us and said hello. Highly recommend him.

The port was on the River Clyde (think Clydesdales).
