Yes, a Nikon D7000. It's a great camera and you can still buy them at a relative bargain price since Nikon introduced the D7100.

I agree, they are great cameras. I recently upgraded to a D5100 from a D60. A big improvement in functionality.

Okay. When it was raining too much I sometimes switched, but it is the UK, Ireland, etc and often is dreary, misty, foggy, and could appear to be washed out. Also if there isn't much color to give contrast.

 

That's how it was for much of the cruise. Sometimes we had fair weather
