jackg962 Posted November 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2013 I am going on Paradise to Cozumel, with 6 adult (18 to 30) kids and one one grand daughter. Any suggestions how we all stay in touch or what to do on cruise. I was thinking signs on each door with a pen and leave notes? Everybody just go do their own things? Everyone is really excited
cb at sea Posted November 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Everyone should be free to do their own thing. As far as keeping in touch, I would assume you'll likely eat dinner together....that's the time to make tentative plans for the next day....that way, you'll know when and where to look for the others! It's really not as hard as you're thinking to find each other....about 85% of the ship is cabin space, so unless your cabin is on a hallway, there's no need to search those areas! You'll find that folks gravitate to the same areas over and over....pool, casino, sports deck, gym......if everyone tells everyone else their tentative plans....you'll know where everyone is likely to be. You can also call from cabin to cabin and leave messages on the phones! Have a great trip! Edited November 12, 2013 by cb at sea
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 12, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2013 I would try to arrange specific times to meet and yes leaving messages in the room or on the door would also be a good idea. Keith
Kerry's Girls Posted November 12, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Post-its on our door worked well when we cruised with extended family. We brought a post-it pad for everyone and when we were leaving the cabin we posted where we were heading/what our plans were (assuming we wanted to be found that day :)). Lerin Posted November 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2013 We use post-its, phone messages, and each day we meet up at least once (breakfast and/or dinner) to plan out our activities and let people know where we will be.
bearette Posted November 16, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 16, 2013 They can be annoying for other passengers, but if used discretely walkie talkies can also help.
