Change for laundry

I could have sworn when we did laundry on the Breeze, you just swiped your S&S card. This was for detergent, softener, the washer, and dryer. Irons were free:D

Really? Swipe your S&S? Hmmm does anyone know about the Dream? Will save a trip to the bank.

There should be a change machine in the casino. Failing that, just go to the cashier's cage in the casino...they are more than willing to help.

As for the swiping of your S&S card for this...probably just the newer ships...we still had to use quarters on the Miracle in March.

As stated by others, the newer ships use the S&S card. Older ships you need quarters. There is a change machine in the casino near the cashier cage. Best machine I found in the casino. You put in one dollar and get 4 quarters. None of the slots paid that well!!! Washer and dryer are $3.00 each and the wash cycle was about 45 mins and dryer was 90 mins. You may also want to take a pod of laundry soap and dryer sheets. Have a wonderful cruise.

Leaving on the liberty on Saturday, looking at doing a load of laundry in the middle of the cruise. Should I bring my own quarters or do the have a change machine. Thanks in advance.

I took my own change but when I ran out I went to guest services:D Have fun!!

Kudos to you all, but I just can't fathom doing laundry on vacation. Then again, we don't do b2b or cruises longer than 7 days. We also don't do formal clothing nights ( actually we rarely hit the mdr), all this makes it easier to not have so much clothes. Myself, wife and daughter for a 7 day cruise take a wheeled suitcase that fits in a planes overhead and a carry-on bag, this holds all..barely :)

Nice that we escape airlines luggage fees, porter tips etc.. but nicer that our luggage never leaves our site. When packing we pick outfits that mix match so shirts and shorts can be worn twice on a cruise. 2-3 shorts, 4-5 shirts rolled tight and that's the bulk of it. Some hot days I may get only one wear, so it's not perfect, but beats laundry. I hate going to do laundry at home, doing it at sea...ugh.

Yes, we had that on the Breeze. I LOVED IT. Not having to worry about getting change etc.

Best time to do laundry is when when ship is docked at port of call. If you wait and do it on sea day be prepared to wait in line.

And don't even think about attempting to iron anything on Formal Night, after 3pm. The line was down the hallway:mad::mad::mad: lol. Live and learn.
