Hello S and A - we so enjoyed sharing the winery tour with you. We spent 3 additional days with L....C.... visiting the wineries and countryside around Santiago. The entire experience was first class and lots of fun!

I didn't think there was anything forbidden about naming Tour Guides you would recommend, as long as you had personal experience of them. Am I wrong?

Quite a while back i had a post removed because I recommended a service

Wow, that seems a bit heavy handed. I can't really see the difference in recommending taxi/transfer services, which many do, and Tour Guides. It is the sharing of info from those who have "been there, done that" which makes these boards so useful.
