Celebrity Solstice Cabin Configurations

Hi guys, we have an upcoming cruise on Celebrity Solstice staying in category 2C on deck 6.

Can anyone advise if it is possible to request the way the room is configured e.g. bed next to balcony doors or lounge next to balcony doors? We prefer to have the bed next to the doors but unsure how our cabin is set up.

Do we have to request this before the cruise sets sail or upon check in?

Also, If a cruise is not fully booked is it possible to pay for a category upgrade if one is available upon check in?

Thanks in advance.

The cabins are unchangeable, everything is attached to the wall, so if you have a preference you need to book that way. What cabin are you in currently? We can tell you which configuration it is.

If you want to upgrade, keep a close eye on prices after your final payment date--that would be the time to do it. It is rare to be able upgrade at the per these days.

6138 is a triple cabin, so the bed will be by the bath. The super easy way to tell what the bed configuration is in Solstice class ships, is to check whether the cabin is a triple or quad. Those cabins will always have the bed by the bath. Cabins that are only for two will always have the bed by the balcony. EM

That's not exactly the case. Cabins with a fold out sofa bed also have the bed by the bath, but on deck 8 where there are no quads, triples, or sofa beds, they still alternate back & forth with bed by bath/balcony/bath, etc.

Since all decks are mirror images, you can check the deck above or below and find a similar stateroom, and they will all be the same.
