Does Celebrity ever offer a 3rd person fare for free? I see that this is a popular sale item with Holland America.

Yes, there have been some sales like this, watch for a cruise where the bookings are soft and you'll see all kinds of deals, especially as sailing time approaches

I've seen it a few times on the Tuesday Exciting Deals. I've also seen quite a few $199. We booked a last minute Bermuda cruise last summer because the kids were free. Port charges were additional.

Yes, specials like that happen occasionally, although it depends on the cruise itinerary. Some itineraries don't get that at all either.

 

It's not as popular with Celebrity marketing as it is with HAL.

If we can find a sale where kids sail free that would be equally as good. We haven't decided yet if we will be sailing in Jan / Feb of 2015 to the Caribbean or June / July of 2015 to Alaska.

Sales appear close to the sailing date. The 2015Alaska itineraries haven't even been released yet. You are way too early to see any sales for those itineraries yet

Any 'free' promotion with Celebrity is very rare. It's unlikely to be a general sale, but just due to certain cruises having capacity.

We got free 3rd & 4th as part of the Cyber Monday sale (Monday after Thanksgiving in USA).

Yes there are great rates out there right now

As a matter of fact we just booked Celebrity Silhouette for Feb 15/15 doing eastern.

We received a C3 cat plus the 1-2-3-option also included in the price because of a group was another $275 OBC
