Priority boarding in Vancouver

We are traveling on the Millennium to Alaska in July with 4 grandchildren ages 4 to 11 in concierge class. Will we have priority boarding in Vancouver so that we can get them settled and have lunch?

Priority boarding in cc and all categories only means a separate line for check-in. Sometimes the regular lines are just as short.

Don is so correct -- priority boarding in Concierge Class means little when tons of folks are trying to board at 11:30 AM.

We boarded the Century in Vancouver last September, and an easy way to ensure that you really feel like you have priority boarding (assuming that the ship is embarking from Canada Place) is to stay the night before at the Pan Pacific hotel. We were at the Pan Pacific for several nights, and were very impressed with the hotel and its facilities. And since the hotel is atop Canada Place, we just called the bell hops who came to our hotel room and picked up our cruise-tagged luggage for us about 10:30 AM. When we boarded about noon-ish we just walked past the mess where folks were delivering luggage to the porters. Lovely service provided by the Pan Pacific.

We stay at the Pan Pacific as well and use the luggage service to the ship --- so convenient. We usually check out of the hotel around 10:30 AM and make our way over to Canada Place --- processing and boarding have always been a quick process for us.

The OP is querying about priority boarding , not check-in.

CC & up are indeed marshalled in a separate quieter area and indeed boarded first, the moment the HD gives the ''all clear''.

Cheeers

I have been in CC a few times and have never been put in a separate area --- is this something new?

We have boarded Celebrity ships in Vancouver when we have been booked both in Sky Suites and Concierge Class cabins (with the last time being in September 2013), and also have never been directed to a "separate quieter area." To echo Italy52's question -- is this something new?
