smoking policy on Equinox

We will be on equinox in November, just wondering what the smoking policy will be?

Same as any Celebrity ship-- smoking only permitted in select outside venues. Been a while since I've been on an S-class, so someone else can report where.

1. Mast Bar, starboard side of the ship

2. Pool Deck, port side back aft (only covered area)

3. Deck 5, port side, near the forward & aft hump areas

4. Sunset Bar, Deck 15, port side only (only place for pipe & cigar smoking)

There is a search at the very top of the board, but it's not forum or thread specific. You also can't use the "all posts by" feature.

 

Perhaps there might be a hidden agenda to get people to stop telling new posters to do a search when they ask a question that has been asked a 1000 times. ;)

Smoking areas on S-class ships (Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse & Silhouette) include the following locations:

Deck 12 (Pool Deck) – Port (left)-side only – outside just forward of the mid-ship elevators

Deck 14 (Lido Deck forward/mid-ship) – Starboard (right)-side only – outside at the Mast Bar

Deck 15 (Lawn Club Deck aft) – Port- (left)side only – outside at the Sunset Bar – This is the area where Cigar & Pipe smoking is permitted.

Deck 5 (Entertainment Deck mid-ship) – Port (left)-side only – outside of the mid-ship elevators

Deck 5 (Entertainment Deck forward) – Port (left)-side only – outside of the forward elevators/Theatre

Please be aware that the smoking areas on deck 5 get closed when there are high winds and sometimes when in port. There were a couple of times last week when some people complained about that.

No smoking anywhere indoors including stateroom and casino. No smoking on veranda's, only about five locations on the ship outside.
