5waldos Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 We have a segment booked on the Discoverer and are considering adding another. Is there an advantage to booking back to back, or as a single cruise, versus two seperate bookings? We were able to take advantage of some good deals for the first one, and haven't heard if they will be extended to a second segment. I'm not even sure what questions to ask. Any thoughts? Rare Keith1010 Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Often there are additional savings with a back to back cruise. Just have them price it for you and book it sooner rather than later to try to get the same room you are in for the first sailing or another one where you would not have to move. duct tape Posted February 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I agree with Keith. There are savings to be had.
Rare RachelG Posted February 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Should definitely be cheaper to book B to B.
Rare WesW Posted February 28, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Four out b2b Seward to Tokyo, Tokyo to Hong Kong next Sept/Oct we are getting a 5% discount (SS calls it combo discount on the invoice).
5waldos Posted February 28, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Let's see what they come up with. It is complicated . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bogey Posted February 28, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 28, 2014 We have done two b2b trips on SS and obtained discounts each time. I found that a good travel agent can be a big help -- especially if travel pans are complex. (No, I'm not a TA.) Bogey
