Deck above bridge.

I was watching the Ruby sail out today and noticed a large deck above the bridge. What was strange is no body was out there. That seems like a great place for sail away.

Sometimes the doors are unlocked.....depends on the wind conditions.

Does the Grand Princess have a deck like this that is accessible to the passengers?

Yes it does but it is not always open.

Very few people know that this viewing spot exists.

This was an awesome spot on our sailaway from Venice last summer. The door to the deck is unmarked and you have to know about it. Luckily some on cc tipped me off.

Great place to watch the ship sail in or out of port. It can be very windy up there.

what deck is the Bridge located on?

 

I see there are 2 suites located on the front of the room on the Lido deck.

 

I watched yesterday sailing and was amazed that we saw hardly any people on the balconies

I also saw a bunch of white suits standing on the top deck along the rail

Where exactly do you access the deck?

 

 

On the Ruby, if I remember correctly, it's on deck 15, Lido. Walk all the way forward and through a couple of unmarked doors and you'll be out on the deck. It's usually locked on sea days due to the wind. It's a good place to watch the pilot get on and off the ship also.

These decks are sometimes, but not often open on all Princess ships.
