I saw a promotional commercial on you tube, that showed a rep. from carnival steakhouse with a cart of meats at table side, and you picked which entree you wanted off the selection of meats. They then cooked your selection. Do they still do this that way or do you just order off menu which selection you want.

You will get a menu, AND they will present the different cuts of meat to you tableside.

Yep, that's what they did for us in January. It really gives you a good look at the size of the cuts. The food is outstanding you will enjoy it. If you haven't booked you need to do the Chef's Table also. You can book it at the Steak House, which is what we did.

The 24oz porterhouse does look nice. I could handle it no problem. If you ever go to the Sheraton Hotel and Casino in Tunica Ms, you will find my name on the wall for eating a 48oz porterhouse with a tater, salad, roll and piece of apple pie in 53 minutes...of course I didn't eat for 53 hours afterwards but it was a great steak.

GREAT stuff!! But I really do miss the 24 oz. Porterhouse!!

That steak looked wonderful. I could never eat one that size but I would liked to have tried. I have reservations for the Steakhouse on the Dream in May - we are boarding on Mother's Day so I decided to treat myself and eat there that night. It will be our first time to eat in a specialty restaurant on any cruise. I am looking forward to a great first meal onboard the Dream. :)

Hello fellow Alabamian... we will be getting off as you are getting on, I will be sure to wave.

It was the best, not sure if by far qualifies. The ribeye is an excellent cut of meat as well. I guess we are talking semantics here tho....

I love the ribeye Jimbo, but that porterhouse you could cut with a spoon.... :D
