Eastern Caribbean Weather

Was just viewing the weather for this weeks Norwegian Getaway sailing and it looks like chance of rain every day.

Did it rain on your cruise? We're on our very first cruise the week of May 10th and would hate to have it rain every day.

I'm hoping it's like Florida with a quick shower daily to cool down the air maybe - but not continuous rain every day.

Your thoughts on weather in the Eastern Caribbean?

We just got back from the Eastern (on the Getaway) yesterday. The weather was great all but one day, and that was the last sea day. It was windy and stormy with a little rain all day. As you get closer to summer though, it can get more volatile. :) Have a great cruise!

First of all: a chance of rain doesn't really mean anything. It can mean rain for 10 minutes or all day and night. As for May, it is an ideal time to cruise. We love cruising from mid April to mid May. We usually have great weather, but not too hot and the rates are a little lower. Nobody can really tell you what to expect, but worrying about it won't change anything.
