Hey Girl's-

Super excited! I purchased this awesome swimsuit back in 2008. It's my favorite! The elastic just now gave out. I literally sat there thinking, I should have bought it, in every color. Now what am I going to do? Our next cruise vacation is in 80 days. I can't say enough great things about it. It's THE BEST!!! Womanwithin.com ROCKS!!! They still carry it. I just purchased it again. This time I bought two of them!!! If you are looking for a great suit... check it out!!! I'm ready for the Beach!!! :D

Does the top stay down when you are in the water ...I do not want to have my big tummy all of a sudden on view for all to see :p I love the colours and seems really cute...but I have found the two piece short type suits really cut in the middle and make me look much larger .

(Sorry, when I click on your link, the picture isn't showing).

I like the tankini top to be longer and fuller (i.e. not skin tight). To prevent it from billowing up in the water, I tuck the front slightly into my swim shorts, making sure to untuck before getting out of the water.

I have a new swimsuit ordered from Roamans. It's the 1st one I've had in years. After seeing the plus-sized women in their bikinis on my last cruise, I decided I could get a suit and go to the beach in Cozumel!

I'm more of an active swimmer and I like one piece with built in bra--like a racing back and modest cut legs (that is what they call them. Important for me also is that there is no lycra. that is the material that reacts with chlorine and with salt and makes your suit "disappear". Tankini tops and shorts bottoms I hate in the spa tubs because the balloon up. So at 60 I went back to one piece suits made of polyester or nylon. There are some cute ones out there but most are fairly plain -- but they do last a long time.

(Maybe useful {ugly} lasts forever:D)

I have never found anything at Catherine's that I liked until I tried on their bathing suits. This is one of the swim dresses I bought for our cruise on the Breeze this past month. The thin model doesn't do this suit any justice. With someone plus-size, the layers lay beautifully instead of just hanging there like its pictured. It is EXTREMELY flattering on, and my favorite suit ever. The straps are adjustable which is perfect for me since my boobs are 44G. I also got it in blue/black, and everyone who saw me in it said how amazing I looked.

I also just discovered Dillards has an amazing plus-size department!

I am a long time shopper at Catherines, both online and in our local store. I also shop womanwithin.com, onestopplus, and roamans.

I've purchased swimdresses from all of these places, but the absolute BEST was my new one I got last week from swimsuitsforall.com. It was a site recommended on another thread on this board.

I got this suit:

http://www.swimsuitsforall.com/Longitude-Formosa-Empire-Princess-Seam-Swimdress-top-print-only

It's an amazing fit for either long-waisted women like me, with "fluffy tushs", or women who take up more room in the tummy area.

The really good news about this suit is it's all black underneath, too. So, if the skirt comes up there's no "nudie" look underneath. Very happy with that. The fabric is very substantial, so I don't think it's going to be doing much ballooning.

The colors on the top are vibrant, and that print is a knockout! I have a purple sheer open jacket that I can use as a cover up with it.

Even better, someone on this board told me that swimsuitsforall.com refunded the difference if they lowered the price on any item you bought within 30 days. I got an immediate refund when I discovered it was cheaper two weeks after I bought it.

Oh, and the double straps and material it's made of hold the girls in beautifully.

Now, if I could just figure out how to camoflauge thos "side flaps"..............:D
