Breeze - Ocean Suite or Aft Wrap? Please Help!

Looking at the Breeze for a cruise for my wife and myself. I really want this to be a very special trip for my wife so I am looking at either an Ocean Suite or an Aft Wrap located on Deck 7 as well. If given the choice which one would you take? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Well, the Ocean Suite will get you priority embarkation and disembarkation.

This is the only Suite perk on Carnival, but it's a good one....bypassing the long lines is wonderful when boarding!

We, however, love the aft wraps. The views are so fabulous!

Nice and quiet back there too!

Personally, we'd go with the aft wrap and try to get FTTF for the boarding perks and much more!

It's $50 for the cabin not per person.

You get your luggage quicker and can go to your cabin right away.

It also gives you priority tender boarding, if applicable, and you can use the priority line at the guest services desk.

I agree, and would go with the aft wrap over the ocean suite, and get a FTTF for priority embarkation/debarkations, early luggage delivery, etc. You'll probably save a ton of money, and will have a better view from the balcony.

I'd consider the aft wrap, but only if it's the one on deck 6. Decks 7 and 8 are amusingly small (mainly the balcony I'm referring to here)

We've been on deck 7 (aft corner) on the Dream, an OS cabin, and also a spa balcony. A friend of ours had the deck 6 wrap below ours - we toured it and knew that we had picked the wrong one!!

Aft corners on the Dream class (compared to both Conquest and Spirit class ships) are not really worth the premium.

Of course, even though I'd go for the OS on the Breeze over the deck 7 wrap - I would still not be thrilled with it. Ours on the Dream was very near a hot tub - and was often a noisy place. Steer clear of those!

Just my $.02 !

Thanks Tom!

The cabin we are looking at would be 7459. My wife is worried about folks looking over the rail, privacy on a wrap and also thinks the possibility of having something dropped from above onto our balcony which is just what happened to us on RCCL's Voyager of the Seas years ago while visiting with some folks we had met on board. They were in an aft cabin suite with a huge balcony.

I thank everybody for their opinions. He had been booked on the Elation for over the 4th of July weekend and had to cancel the entire trip at the last minute due to issues at work. That really hurt but had no choice and had to cancel it. So, I really want this next one we are looking at for 2015 to be special (and hopefully we will not have to experience having to cancel another cruise again - ever).

I managed to get a couple of VERY sweet deals thanks to casino offers. We're booked on the Freedom next month - got the CAPTAIN'S SUITE for $300 PP !!!

Captain's Suite again for early next year (Sunshine) as well.. though that one was much pricier... $600 PP... LOL !!

Ok...I will play!

Here is a link to the fb photos I have posted for the Breeze 6501 - aft wrap. You do not need a fb log in to view them. We had that cabin twice last year. February when we sailed alone and again in August when went with my family. Love it both times! ;)

We too would say aft wrap over the OS - but we really love the balcony space. We also went with an OS on the Dream - long story about misplaced balcony dividers for the aft wraps when she first launched. :o

The Breeze is certainly not the largest aft wrap balcony we've had....but roomy enough. But to help you with size comparison - here is a photo from the August trip. Mimosa's on our balcony! :D

Don't start! Over the long haul, these "low rate" cabins are not as low as they appear to be! ;)

Glad to see that you've got some things booked! I was getting worried.... :( ;)

Will look forward to your thoughts on the Sunshine!
