Ballroom Dancing Classes

I will be on the CB in 27 days (not that I'm counting or anything :)) and the other half was wondering if there were any ballroom dancing classes she could drag me....errrr...have us take. If so are they suitable for beginners or will I be totally embarrassed? :rolleyes:

Depends on the Cruise Director, and if any the CD's staff are trained to provide the instructions. You will not see special dance instructors on board. Watch the Princess Patter each day. If they have instruction it will be basic, and on a 7 day voyage, probably just a few dances. Look for classes on the first and last sea days as well as the morning before arrival in Grand Turk.

They are usually very popular (crowded) and pretty basic, hence potential for embarrassment is very low because no one will be looking at you!

We will be hoping for dance lessons on our 28 day Crown sailing in Oct of 2015. When I was a youngster, I took Beginning Ball Room Dancing 3 times in 3 years. :D No I was not that bad, :rolleyes: we just kept getting new instructors in our little town and they never stayed past the Beginners'. :eek:

On the Crown in March, there was a couple who gave Ballroom Dance demos and lessons plus pay instruction. on the Grand in June, there was no ballroom Dance at all.
