I'm sailing 11/1 on the Splendor repo and 11/29 on Freedom (Premier Casino offer!!). Then nothing booked until 10/23/15 on Splendor to Bermuda. Sure would love to cruise with you again!

Well if you were looking for another post tax season getaway....we booked the Pride again for May 3, 2015! Same itinerary as last May. Think about it.

 

As far as your grouchy-old-woman-solo-sailing reference, I would like to share something with you that I hope you find amusing. As my sister and I would discuss our roll call prior to cruising, that's pretty much how we referred to you, but we also said you would probably be the person we enjoyed meeting the most from everyone on the roll call.. lol. Boy we hit that nail right on the head. Hopefully you will think about cruising with us again. You remember my sister right? The 6 foot 4 inch beauty? Lol

Ha! That's great! I've never had a lot of patience for many things and now that I'm getting old, my internal filter doesn't stop me from voicing my opinions. You should see the number of scathing replies I type to comments on here and then just delete them. And I still get in trouble because I'm "so mean." :D

 

Of course I remember your sister! You two, and Melody (who is booked on the Bermuda cruise).

 

I will seriously have to think about the Pride sailing.

Jamman is my favorite, because his photos are excellent, he points out all important things, and isn't too "wordy". I finished reading his Fascination review and am now waiting on him to finish the Liberty cruise. Carry on, Jamman! :D

Is the Premier Casino offer the one that you pay $100 for the cruise and get $100 OBC? I got an offer like that for select sailings only. Unfortunately, I don't fly and also can't afford to cruise on short notice, so I couldn't take advantage of the offer. Also I'm jealous of you and Melody going to Bermuda. Maybe my sister and I can leave the men at home, and we can make it a girl's trip. Is that a 7 night?

The Premier offer was for 9 different sailings between 10/19 and 11/30. I was already booked for 11/1 and couldn't cancel (flight to San Juan and prepaid hotel), so I booked Freedom. One of the more expensive, especially as a solo, but apparently good perks ($300 casino cash, private cocktail party, free drinks card (uh oh!), other goodies). With air and pre-cruise hotel, it's costing me about $1k as a solo interior. But I get three more new ports and will get that cash to offset some of it and will spend much less on adult beverages.

 

The Bermuda cruise is absurdly expensive and both balcony & suites have been sold out for weeks (and we're well over a year away).

 

Back to favorite reviews - I always love Nancy's reviews (All4fun&fun4all). I was scheduled to sail with her in May and switched to Pride. She lost her partner shortly before that and I don't think she wrote a review of that sailing. Not sure how she's doing; haven't seen her post here recently. :(
