computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #54 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Just off to the side of La veranda is Prime 7 Quite an extensive steakhouse menu ...and specs are available if you need to read the fine print. This long and narrow room reminded me of a dining car.. maybe the wine train in Napa?
computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #55 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Next, a walk up to Deck 11 for the view... and Galileo's Lounge...and then on to the Spa... That will be for tomorrow.

borntocruz Posted September 25, 2014 #57 Share Posted September 25, 2014 What a fun thread! Thanks so much for sharing. We love the Navigator. Dang, that Master Suite looks incredible. I have to say, your pictures are even more enticing than the brochure pics! ;)
computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #58 Share Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Up the stairs to Deck 11,, Deck 11 surrounds the pool area as a sundeck, with loungers....and gives a great view of below. computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #59 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Some quiet walking areas on the rails, for watching sunsets, on both sides of the ship... We couldn't help but notice the "Fifty Shades of Gray" on the lounge covers... ...but still a neat and proper Lido deck
computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #60 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Walking Aft to Galileo's Lounge... the Observation Lounge at the rear of Deck 11. I was especially interested in the outdoor deck over the stern... one of my favorite places on any ship. A warmly decorated lounge, looking like a great night-time spot... but not much in the 'observation' category...maybe more so when at sea? Finding the door behind the curtain let us go outside and look at the deck area..
computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #61 Share Posted September 25, 2014 The rear deck did not disappoint... very pretty area with a great vista. Personally, I would have liked to see the rear-most arc of this deck open and uncovered...but not a real issue... still looks like a great place to hang out. Now, to our last stop... the Spa and the Fitness Center on Deck 12.
computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #62 Share Posted September 25, 2014 An elevator up to the top deck brings us to the Canyon Ranch Spa and Fitness Center. Just a half deck in the Forward area of the ship No tour would be compete without a peek at the infamous carpet syndrome. Guess what? No stains..it sure looked like it's in the pile. Didn't bother me one bit.

computerworks Posted September 25, 2014 Author #66 Share Posted September 25, 2014 And... there you have it... the Navigator from bottom to top. Hope you enjoyed the tour. Let me step back, go back to the beginning and take the tour myself... and then I'll come back later with my personal observations and comments. RJ2002 Posted September 25, 2014 #67 Share Posted September 25, 2014 What a great thread! Thanks very much for sharing your beautiful photos. I have not sailed on Regent (yet ;) ), but this is a great introduction. Your moderator should consider making this thread a sticky.
Kwaj girl Posted September 25, 2014 #68 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Thank you SO much for all of your hard work - the Navigator is probably our favorite vessel overall - seeing those photos brought back lots of good "hey, I remember that" memories. Travelcat2 Posted September 25, 2014 #69 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Still enjoying photos. I'm really surprised to see that the Navigator still has that type of carpeting. It seemed like they refurbished the ships at least twice and installed the same carpet (new - they must have had enough to carpet 6 ships:-) The Mariner and Voyager's carpeting does not show the shadowing that so many people mistake for dirt or water stains. Patti22 Posted September 25, 2014 #70 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Thank you, Computerworks for the great pictures. We have been on the Mariner and Voyager several time but always never on Navigator because we were concerned about the size. Looks like a wonderful ship. janecambridge Posted September 25, 2014 #71 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Only just booked our first ever Regent cruise a couple of weeks ago.We go in a couple of weeks.on Navigator. Thank you so much for the pictures. We have been searching the internet for decent passenger photos. Tonight my husband and I have sat down and looked through your whole thread. Already we know where we will sit with our sundowners in the caribbean!! Maybe Regent can give you a free upgrade after advertising this wonderful ship so well..;)
Sheltieluv Posted September 25, 2014 #72 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Computerworks, I'd like to add my thanks and appreciation for your time and effort in posting these wonderful pictures. We have been on the Navigator 3 times, and it holds a special place and precious memories in our hearts. As I looked at the pictures, I could visualize some of our favorite crew at work....Elvis at the pool bar, Alberto in Compass Rose, and so many more. Wish we were onboard right now! Thanks again.:)
