JanetMarie Posted April 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2004 24 hours?????????? I don't want it to rain on my weekend, but the only way that I will be in front of the tube this weekend is if it does. fascination 5/10 Posted April 30, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2004 Oh JanetLeigh.... I am so much with you! This has been a horrible winter in VT...too cold to get out and ski or skate (way below zero for days on end!) But yesterday here in VT was 78 and today will be in the low 80's, so I too will be working out in the yard....I'll be enjoying every second of it, as it will be back to the 50's by Monday. But I'm staying positive...I'll be boarding a ship in Miami the following Monday...yahoo!! Where in CT do you live? I grew up in RI, and one of my brothers lives in Litchfield...it's beautiful there! Rare Lois R Posted May 1, 2004 Author #12 Share Posted May 1, 2004 Good morning Karen...I never know if I am going to talk live on air just lucky! I don't normally even get on the "testimonial line"...that is a separate phone number and its only open for certain times, (they announce it)...if you don't get in fast enough..... The regular phone lines...that is where I usually get in...I just ask "Are you taking calls"? Each operator has a pc and supposedly it works like a beeper system but its on the screen. If they are getting beeped (or promped) it will show up in the corner of their screen. Don't ask me why some get the beep and some don't Luck of the draw I guess! PiperMcB Posted May 2, 2004 #16 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I am not totally watching, but I do check on their web site--they list everything for the last 24 hours--of course some things sell out. madelinerose Posted May 2, 2004 #17 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I've purchased (so far) the Susan Graver gauze top and ankle pants in black. It'll be great for the cruise. The top has long sleeves that can be rolled and the shirt can be tied at the waist. I'm also on waitlist for the Me Too thong sandals with the rose. The three will make a really, cute outfit for casual nights. Not watching non-stop, but... lszu Posted May 3, 2004 #21 Share Posted May 3, 2004 I was fairly well behaved. I guess being at a bridal shower for most of the day had something to do with it. Just got a Denim & Co. khaki short-sleeved sweater (to go with a pair of their khaki pants I already have) and the Sport Savvy set of two shorts. Now I'm ready for May 17 - Denim & Co. Rare Lois R Posted May 7, 2004 Author #23 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Jane 25 closets? NOT LOL....I don't have that many clothes...I just did a bunch of spring cleaning...donated tons to the underpriveleged and another set went to the Consignment Store I use alot. This is just a curious question...do I really sound like I have that much clothing? I do wear LOTS of things twice..honest. Some Of my cruise clothing I wear for work but not the "dressy stuff". My citiknits is wonderful for work. And Fashion day is normally twice a year...one Fall and one Spring. Next up...HORIZON Sept 18th to Bermuda! You seem to buy a lot - clothes, jewelry, sandals. I just mentioned it because I'm jealous! LOL! You seem like our shopping diva! I too donate my unwanted items to charity. Additionally, I donate the amenity kits that I get on airplanes to womens shelters. They really appreciate the personal items - toothbrush/paste, socks, earplugs, moisturizer, lip balm, etc that come in them. I buy some small travel size items to add to them soemtimes too. I know that they're very much appreciated. Jane
